Secluded luxury

By Debra and Robert on 07-Aug-2024

Fantastic quiet secluded property. So much space in lovely surroundings. We had a lovely time. The property is situated so that you are close to Devon and Dorset. We loved the hustle and bustle of Lyme Regis but also enjoyed the quieter beaches of Beer and Budleigh Salterton. We visited The Hive beach and ate there too, the food was great. We can also recommend Mark Hix' restaurant Oyster and Fish as well as Millside. All in all we had a super holiday enjoying the seclusion and total quiet. It was a great find.

A very well equipped and comfortable barn - exactly as described on the website. Perfect position to visit Lyme Regis, Sidmouth and Beer or just to sit by the lake and enjoy the abundance of wildlife. Owners available but not intrusive. A lovely few days away and will definitely re visit. High on my recommended list!

Peaceful retreat

By Mark and Margaret on 02-Jul-2023

This is a lovely converted barn in a very peaceful spot, and the location is a great base for exploring East Devon. Well equipped and spacious, and outside is like spending a week on a nature reserve. In the immediate grounds of the owners we saw kingfisher, little egret, green woodpecker, blackcaps, a weasel, loads of butterflies and dragonflies. Very generous welcome pack from splendid hosts, and they are next door, which is reassuring. We would certainly return here, and strongly recommend this property.
