Lots of lovely things about this cottage, it’s roomy, well equipped and comfortable. There are loads of touches which mean it would appeal to many. I particularly liked the lovely garden flowers in a vase for our arrival, the overall presentation and the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in. We didn’t get chance to use the garden as the weather wasn’t brilliant, but it would be good in sunny weather. It’s out in the wilds a bit, this makes it beautifully quiet and we sleep really well. For us it was a bit too far out of the village and we were disappointed we couldn’t walk to the pub as the lane is long and steep, but it’s close to Poppit Sands and to Cardigan which has loads of good eateries. Don’t miss The Ferry Inn and we had a surprisingly good meal at the Black Lion.
Would have liked the property a little nearer the village. We had a lovely time with family and friends. Thank You.
Quiet location, great walks. Cottage itself is tastefully furnished and has everything you would expect and need.
We're just home from a very happy stay at Gerallt in St Dogmaels. Such a comfy and clean cottage, with everything you need and more, such as a welcome tray including treats for our dog! There are walks in very direction, including down into the village where you'll find a good local shop, PO, Tuesday farmer's / producer's market, places to eat (pubs, The Coach House for lunch) and more. Nearby Poppit Sands is huge, clean and has facilities including a cafe, lovely to stroll along. We can't recommend the cottage and area too highly, it you have a few days to spare and can book in do give yourself a treat here!
A lovely homely cottage in a quiet corner of St Dogmaels. Plenty of local walks and the coastline and beaches are spectacular. Poppit sands is just 10 mins in the car. The cottage is very well equipped.
We loved this cottage - clean, cosy and beautifully presented - loved the welcome pack as did the dogs!! Everything there that we could want - did not try the woodburners as the weather was too good ! Lovely gardens and places to sit and enjoy the sunshine. Close to Poppit sands . Visited the Market on Tuesday at the Abbey which is well worth a visit. All in all a great break - thank you! Like a lot of other guests - we will be back !
