The apartments provide a peaceful retreat while keeping you close to everything that makes St Ives special. The harbour, sandy beaches, independent shops, galleries, cafés, and restaurants are all just a short stroll away, yet the property is tucked into a quiet spot away from the busiest streets.
Each apartment sleeps up to four guests and is thoughtfully furnished to feel like a true home from home, with all the modern amenities you’d expect. It’s a perfect base for couples, families, or friends looking to explore Cornwall, enjoy seaside walks, or simply unwind by the ocean.
About Lighthouse Lookout
Lighthouse Lookout is a charming top-floor apartment with glimpses of the harbour lighthouse and sea from the kitchen window. It features a spacious main bedroom with a king-size bed, along with a cosy second bedroom nook with a raised double bed to allow for storage beneath (bed accessed by two steps).
The loft-style living space is bright and airy, combining a comfortable lounge with a well-equipped kitchen and a beautiful oak dining table—ideal for relaxed meals. The bathroom includes a bath with a powerful overhead shower.
Set within the historic Old Sail Lofts building, the apartment retains plenty of original character, including slightly wonky beams and charming quirks that reflect its heritage. Inside, the space is calm, welcoming, and designed to make the most of its layout.
The kitchen window offers lovely glimpses of the harbour and lighthouse. Amenities include a Smart TV, dishwasher, washing machine, and everything needed for a comfortable stay.
Location & Access
Situated on Bethesda Hill, one of St Ives’ most charming cobbled streets, the apartment enjoys a central yet tucked-away position. From here, it’s just a short walk (less than one minute) down to the harbour and beach.
As is typical in this part of town, the property is not accessible by car. Access is via a short walk up a cobbled lane from the harbour, helping maintain its peaceful setting.

While there is no on-site parking, several convenient options are available:
Island Long Stay Car Park – 5-minute walk (approx. £26.30/week)
Barnoon Long Stay Car Park – 10-minute walk (approx. £26.30/week)
St Ives Rugby Club – 15–20-minute walk or shuttle bus (£7/day)
Many guests choose to briefly park at the harbourside to unload luggage before moving their car to a nearby car park.
For those travelling by public transport, the apartment is around a 15-minute walk from the train and bus station—making it a great option for a car-free getaway.

Beautiful apartment in great location
By Sarah on 21-Apr-2026Beautiful apartment in a great location. Modern, clean decor with all amenities needed. Upside down layout with bedrooms on entry floor and living area upstairs. Very light in living area, although views is mainly over rooftops. View of harbour can be seen from window in kitchen area. Excellent location with easy access to harbour, beaches, shops and restaurants. No parking, but very close to The Island car park and reasonable rates for weekly parking. Emma was very responsive and informative on arrival and during our stay. We had a wonderful week and would happily recommend this accommodation for couples or small families.
One of the nicest places we've stayed in St Ives

We’ve stayed in several places in St Ives over the years and this is one of the nicest. Definitely had the best shower - good pressure and heat (tall people may find it cosy). We could hear the people staying below us, but they were quiet by 9pm so wasn’t a problem. The location can’t be matched- close to great food, art and beaches!

Emma was very helpful and responsive. The house was bigger and brighter than what it looks like in the photos. We were very sad to leave and we will definitely be back!
