By Jo on 19-Aug-2025We had a fantastic stay at One Ocean Breeze. The apartment is spotlessly clean and well maintained with comfortable beds and modern bathrooms. The kitchen is fully equipped (thank goodness for the corkscrew) and we enjoyed a few home cooked meals during our stay, although in St Ives you are spoilt for choice if you want to eat out. The living area is cosy with a nice space to relax in the evening. Wi-Fi and appliances worked flawlessly. Parking is also a huge plus - having a dedicated space took all the stress out of coming back after a day exploring. Overall this is a great place, in a great location. Liz and David are kind, helpful and great hosts. The welcome treats on arrival are lovely. This is our second visit and we are booked in again next year - unless we win the lottery and then we may buy it!! (Jo, Rob & Pat August 2025)
Home From Home
By Louisa on 28-Aug-2025We’ve just had our second stay at One Ocean Breeze, which was as wonderful as the first. It really does have the feeling of "home from home". The owners are very easy to communicate with and the apartment is spacious, clean, very well equipped and well maintained. The location is fabulous, just a few minutes walk to Porthmeor beach or the town centre. The parking space being so close to the property is a real bonus too. Couldn’t wish for a better location to explore Cornwall and St Ives. The welcome goodies left for our arrival were a lovely touch. Highly recommend. (Louisa, Chris and Family August 2025)
Brilliant Stay
By Peter on 31-Jul-2025My family and I stayed for a week during the summer holidays and we had a brilliant time. The apartment is in a great position, really close to both Porthmeor Beach and the town centre. The reserved parking space, in the car park directly opposite, is very convenient (especially in St Ives!). The accommodation is very comfortable and well equipped with washing machine, dishwasher, plenty of kitchen utensils, hairdryer etc. There is a folder of information with clear instructions for appliances, Wi-Fi connection etc. and also some helpful information about St Ives and ideas of places to visit. Communication before our stay was excellent, so we knew exactly what to expect upon arrival. Would thoroughly recommend staying here! (Peter, Abigail and Family July 2025)
Beautiful Apartment - Conveniently Located
By Bill Aldridge on 05-Oct-2022Sept 2022 - The apartment is ideally situated for both a short (5min) walk to the main town and harbour or the local beach. The facilities within the apartment are supremely clean, modern and very well maintained. Over and above this, was the administration and contact from Liz and Dave prior to, during and after our stay. From initial enquiry, to booking, paying and all the admin for our arrival. Some particularly nice, thoughtful touches included proper directions and a map which included ignoring satnav instructions that misdirect through the town. A private car park spot was really great, and the directions to gain access on the day were 100%. When in the apartment everything was spotless. The apartment has lovely high ceilings, and a selection of books and games should the weather be an issue (really nice touch), we also loved the fact the kitchen was well-equipped and included a dishwasher. If you are looking for (as we were) a peaceful base near to the town and beaches, this apartment is ideal. We cannot recommend enough this family run apartment, if you want to use as a peaceful base to explore St Ives and surrounding Cornwall. We will be back again now we have found a new home-from-home. Simply Marvellous
By Pierre Kaptanian on 03-May-2022From booking with Liz who is an excellent communicator and very attentive to details, to parking (the spot could not have been more convenient and was so necessary), to the well appointed kitchen (we went down to southern Cornwall and got fish fresh off the dock one evening and had everything we needed to cook a full dinner), to the location (WOW what a perfect location a stones throw from the beach and minutes to the centre of town), it was just an ideal place to stay. Beautiful Apartment

It was spotlessly clean, very spacious for 2 of us (would also be very comfortable for 4), light and airy but also cosy and warm on chilly autumn nights. Every little detail had been thought of and there were some very helpful and clear instructions for everything, including during the booking process and directions to the apartment. It’s a brilliant location in St Ives and you can see the sea from the living/dining/kitchen area and Porthmeor Beach and Tate St Ives are less than a 5 minute walk away. Very comfortable.
