Just Perfect!
By Kate and Pip on 25-Apr-2026This was our 4th stay at Vestry Cottage and the best yet. A special treat for my daughter’s 50th bday. Linda goes above and beyond to make it a special holiday retreat. From the pretty garden to cosy interior and amazing food packages, what more could you want. Even perfect weather for us to see the Island at its very best. St Lawrence is ideal for exploring with lovely walks from the cottage and nice local pubs. Ventnor park and putting green cafe a lovely spot, ideal for dog walkers. Our favourite walk is round to Steephill Cove to see the lizards in the wall and the sparkly sea. We will be back next year for sure.

A delightful retreat
By Tony Threlfall on 18-Apr-2026The cottage was very well appointed and the garden truly wonderful. We were delighted to find so many treats that the owner had kindly provided. However, the bedrooms are quite snug and the single bed is too short and not particularly comfortable. Nevertheless, we enjoyed a wonderful holiday.
Beautiful Cottage
By Bridget Barrett on 06-Dec-2025Vestry Cottage is a beautiful cottage in a great location. The accommodation for 2-3 people is absolutely perfect. The cottage is very well equipped and very cosy and comfortable. Every attention has been paid to the comfort and enjoyment of the guests. The welcome pack is absolutely outstanding and so very generous. Would highly recommend.
The Vestry from 20/9/25 for two weeks wonderful experience on every level.
By Carroll and Lorraine Yates on 20-Sep-2025My sister and I (both elderly) had a superb holiday in the beautiful, well appointed, cosy cottage in a great location. Perfect for a peaceful and relaxing getaway. Whilst within easy reach town, country and coastal amenities, including fantastic views. A stunning night light display in the garden added to the magical atmosphere and all the while enjoying an amazingly generous welcome pack. The host .Linda and David were very friendly and accommodating. We did not want to leave and can’t wait to return.
Amazing cottage, perfect for a short or long stay. Beautiful back garden and well appointed interior.
By Mac on 23-Aug-2025We were blown away with how welcoming the hosts were and the goodies they provided us when we arrived. The cottage is everything and more than we expected. The rooms were clean, the facilities were great, the back garden was an amazing place to relax and catch some sun. The cottage is a short drive to all the attractions in the area and for convenience there is a small post office a short walk away which stocks most essential supplies. We would definetely recommend staying at the cottage and hope to come back in the near future.
