The bungalow is located in a quiet cul de sac and ideal for exploring North Cornwall. The surrounding area is known as “Seven Bays for Seven Days”, and the beaches within a short drive (10 mins) include Harlyn, Constantine and Treyarnon. Most of the nearby beaches are dog friendly all year round as are many of the local pubs and shops. Padstow is 3 miles from the property and from the harbour you can catch the ferry across the estuary to Rock. Camel Creek Adventure Park is nearby and the Eden Project is approximately 45 minutes away
The village of St Merryn is 1.5 miles away and has 2 pubs serving food, a bakery, fish and chip shop, restaurants and surf equipment hire shop. Harlyn and Constantine Bays both have surf schools. Bike hire is available at Padstow and Wadebridge with access to the Camel Trail cycle path.
St Merryn Park has 2 bars/restaurants.. There are 2 tennis courts and a dog walking area.

By Mrs L Totterdell on 28-Jun-2025A lovely bungalow in a quiet close. Close to so many gorgeous beaches and coast footpath walks with Padstow just a few minutes drive away. The local pubs, especially the 'Farmers Arms' served delicious food and were dog welcoming too! Fab pasties and bread from Barnicutts in St Merryn. We hope to return, thank you!
Family holiday
By Isla on 10-Aug-2024We had a wonderful stay. The bungalow was beautiful, modern and immaculately clean. It had everything we needed for our stay and was very well equipped. The extra touches of tea bags, milk and biscuits on arrival were much appreciated after a long journey down and the dogs enjoyed their dog chews. The site is good and we found all the neighbours really friendly and kind too. A Great base for exploring Cornwall.
A fantastic stay!

The bungalow itself is very spacious and tastefully decorated with everything you could need and more for a comfortable stay. It was pristine when we arrived and there were a lovely few gifts to get us started there (milk, tea, biscuits and dog treats). The cottage is in a prefect location no more than 10 mins from the nearest beach. It’s is on a mixed holiday and residential site and we found all the neighbours within the cul de sac to be most friendly and helpful just like the hostess Susan. From the booking procedure and throughout our stay she was so kind to share local information about the best dog beaches and walks which my dog and I much appreciated in addition to the large secure garden. I truly cannot recommend this property enough and I’m sure we will back again soon. Thanks once again Susan and gang for a wonderful stay and for all your helpful tips which really made this a very memorable holiday for me and my family.
