‘Time Out’ (Chalet no. 74) is a very well-equipped, detached chalet located on the family-friendly site of Atlantic Bays Holiday Park, one mile from St Merryn, near Padstow on Cornwall’s North coast.

It is ideally located for walking the North Cornish sections of the now-famous Salt Path, and visiting the seven bays for seven days, beaches and coves all within easy reach.

Time Out is set in a quiet part of the 27 acres of parkland that is Atlantic Bays Holiday Park, There is an on-site shop, bar, launderette and children's play area. St Merryn village is a short drive away and has excellent facilities, including a Baker, a General Store, takeaways, fish and chips and two very good pubs with food, one being the Cornish Arms owned by the celebrity chef Rick Stein. A little further is the fishing village of Padstow, renowned for its picturesque harbour, Michelin-starred restaurants, shops, pubs and many attractions.

The Chalet features two bedrooms plus a convertible sofa in the lounge, so it can comfortably accommodate up to five guests.

The open plan through kitchen/lounge is fully equipped, with a full-size double oven, ceramic hob, microwave oven, fridge, and dishwasher etc.,. The lounge has two armchairs and a two-seater convertible sofa bed. It also has a Freeview TV, mini hi-fi, and electric heating.

The main bedroom has a double bed with a duvet, bedside tables, a wardrobe, a dressing table/chest and chair, and an oil-filled radiator.

The twin bedroom has two 3' single beds with duvets, a wardrobe, a chest of drawers, a chair and an electric heater.

Disposable protective mattress and pillow covers are changed between each guest.

The bathroom has a walk-in shower enclosure with an electric shower, shaver point, heated towel rail, wash hand basin/vanity unit and WC.

Outside, there is a table and a picnic bench seating for enjoying some Cornish fresh air and maybe a picnic.

Laundry facilities and Wi-Fi are available on-site

Bed linen and towels are not supplied but can be hired locally.

Electricity is included in the rental.

Our check-in day is Saturday, and we only accept weekly bookings in the high season (school holidays); however, we can accept 4-day bookings at other times. Please contact the owner for further details.
