41 Shakespeare Street is a three bedroomed holiday cottage in a quiet back street just off the heart of Stratford-upon-Avon with off road private parking. It is just a few minutes walk from town centre attractions, shops and restaurants.
The cottage is Grade II listed dating back to 1840 and used to be a canal workers cottage. The cottage has been extensively restored and renovated.
A 5 minute walk in one direction gets you to the town centre with all its attractions and the River Avon, and a short strole the other way takes you to beautiful countryside, and the canal for walks and bike rides.
The town centre is full of interesting places to visit such as Shakespeare Houses, Shakespeare's schoolroom, The Royal Shakespeare Theatre, and for the family the Butterfly Farm and the MAD Museum to name a few.
The River Avon is lovely for walks and boat trips.
The town centre is also full of restaurants and cafes so there are plenty of places to eat, drink and generally enjoy yourselves.
Daytrips are within easy reach to Warwick and Warwick Castle, The Cotswolds, Oxford etc. There are numerous National Trust and other attractions very close such as Coughton Court, Ragley Hall, All things wild and many others.
The train station is within easy reach.
The cottage is available to let all year round.
The master bedroom is a double with an adjoining en-suite. The en-suite is equipped with a shower, basin, toilet and heated towel rail.
The second bedroom has twin beds and the third contains bunk beds.
All bedrooms are furnished with pine furniture. All bed linen is provided including extra blankets if required. A travel cot and high chair are available if required.
The main bathroom is spacious and is fitted with a bath, shower, basin, toilet and heated towel rail. Towels are provided for each guest.
The kitchen is fully fitted with a range style cooker, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, washing machine, microwave, toaster and iron. All crockery and cutlery are supplied.
The traditional flagstone floor in the kitchen continues through to the dining/sitting room. The dining area seats 6 people around a pine table and has a babies high chair if required. The sitting room area includes a three piece suite, pine coffee table and sideboard. A coal effect gas fire gives extra warmth if required. Freeview TV with DVD. WiFi available.
Patio doors lead from the kitchen to a patio area with garden furniture.
The cottage has gas central heating (underfloor downstairs and conventional radiators upstairs) and hot water. Patio doors open from the kitchen at the rear of the cottage onto a paved patio area equipped with garden furniture.
