Daphne's cottageStretton is a peaceful, tranquil, picturesque village, making it perfect for guests wanting to get away from the hustle and bustle of busy city life. It is ideal for public foot paths as well as nature walks i.e. 100 acre Stretton woods and 80 acre George Henry woods. We are just a stone strow away from the A1 taking you to the historical town of Stamford, famous for it's Friday street market and Burghley house and grounds. Rutland water is the area's standout attraction, offering stunning views, wildlife , endless outdoor activities.
Our location does require the need for a car. As there is no local transport.
First floor, 2 bedrooms (sleeps up to 4 guests) 1 shower room (with a large shower cubicle) with WC and sink and great shower pressure. Ground floor, Fully equipped kitchen (everything you need to cook meals) providing, cooking condiments, pots and pans, crockery and utensils. Front room with T.V and WIFI BT provider. Underfloor heating and first floor central heating radiators. Back garden, wire fenced with hand gate. To the front of the property there is a private courtyard.
