6 adults, 4 kids the holiday home was ideal. Plenty of space indoors, garden brilliant for outdoor use, parking is a must for 3 cars. The beach is 5 minutes away and Swanage has plenty of facilities for everyone, cafes, pubs, parks, walks, water sports, the list can go on.
We have been coming to Swanage every year for 30 years. We have stayed at this property for the last two years and it really does tick all the boxes. It is close to the beach, just a five minute walk away. The property is clean and spacious. There are three large double bedrooms and two smaller rooms, perfect for the children. We’ve never been able to find such a large, child-friendly property to accommodate the whole family (grandparents, parents and grandchildren). There is also a lovely large garden, again perfect for the whole family to enjoy. The children enjoyed playing with the toys that are provided at the property as well as playing in the garden. The white room is stunning, especially when the sun is shining through the windows. We will be returning again next year after two wonderful holidays here - thank you so much Vicki!
We had another great stay at the house in Swanage for a Birthday celebration. The brilliant thing about the house is that there is lots of living space for children and adults alike without being on top of each other! With 2 living rooms, one which lends itself to the kids room; has big sofas, DVD's etc. and the other which has a more grown up feel with big sofa's and fireplace and big double doors leading out to a covered veranda and pretty front garden. The light/bright kitchen/diner overlooks the large pretty garden and is where we could all congregate around the table at mealtimes. The garden is well kept and looked after and was great for the kids to kick a ball about and play cricket. It also catches the evening sun so great for a post beach drink over a BBQ. Upstairs the 3 double bedrooms are a great size, plenty of room and big beds! Kids really enjoyed the attic rooms and the games cupboard which was full of lego and toys. As well as the house being brilliant for families it's also in a fantastic location to make the most of Swanage. The nearest beach is a 5 mins walk away, the coast path is 5 mins and the nearest corner shop is a 5 minutes stroll! Ballard Stores is a great little find, the croissants and local produce were excellent. Vicki was also a great host, replied very quickly when we were short of towels and allowed us to borrow a few! Would definitely recommend the house if you're looking for a big house near the beach in Swanage.
