Leave ReviewComfortable House
By Deborah on 15-Aug-2024A very comfortable house in a beautiful town. The amenities were good and we particularly enjoyed the well fitted out kitchen and the good selection of glassware, crockery and cutlery. The younger members of the family had the attic room as their private den, rather inaccessible to their arthritic elders. There was plenty of space for the 3 generations, even on wet days.
Long weekend stay
By Natalie on 02-Jun-2025Had a lovely weekend stay with family. The accommodations was clean well presented and decorated really nicely. Beds were comfortable, linen nice and clean. Lovely welcome gift which was a well received treat we wasn’t expecting. Located in walking distance from centre, pubs, restaurants, beach and local train/bus station. The host was excellent rang me prior to our stay, explained exactly how to find the accommodation, gave clear instructions on how to access property and local recommendations on restaurants etc. This was followed up by text message communication. Was extremely flexible with checking and out times which was great as travelling with younger children and elderly relatives. I would defo return and 100% recommend this accommodation and host. Thanks for a lovely stay
Wonderfully decorated
By Matthew on 10-Apr-2025Alison's house was beautiful, and perfect for my wife, 8-year old son and parents. It was within easy walk of Swanage town centre, and had ample parking. The inside was wonderfully decorated, everything was clean and we felt like we were at home right away. We would like to have stayed longer. We also spending the afternoon in the RNL with the friendly locals for fun day with quizzes, on-screen pig racing and music bingo. There is a convenience store at the end of the road, about 1 minute walk which was......well, convenient! All-in-all, a great stay and we would stay again, as we are regular visitors to Knoll Beach, Shell Bay, and Swanage. It was also close to Corfe Castle and about 25 mins from Lulworth Cove, which we also visited.
