Description

A light and airy 4 bedroom Town House with contemporary decor only 2 minutes walk from Swanage’s Blue Flag sandy beach and just 70 metres from the South West coastal footpath, The White House is ideal for two families, one large family, four couples or a group of friends. With a large enclosed south facing patio, great kitchen/dining room, lounge with a wood-burning stove it is a house for all seasons. In addition, one well behaved dog is welcome!

The White House has four large double bedrooms (one King size bed, and three twins, with an option to have one or two made up as superkings), three bathrooms ( 2 ensuite), a large kitchen/dining room seating 10, a comfortable lounge, utility room and large entrance hall for buckets/spades and walking boots, making this a real holiday home. The house has BT infinity wifi, plus off-road parking for two cars as well as additional on-street parking. The location provides easy access to beach bars, water sports, an indoor gym, restaurants and a pub, all within a few minutes walk from the house, and is just a half mile walk along the beach to Swanage town centre. Please note the house is on 3 floors, ideal for 2 families to have a floor each with 2 bedrooms and 1 or 2 bathrooms on each. There is no downstairs loo but 3 upstairs!

Lovely house for a larger family

We have holidayed in Swanage for many years but have never ventured up towards the North end of town. The White House is in a quiet residential road near The Grand Hotel and within a couple of minutes of the beach. Excellent stay for the week and Sian was very helpful. Trouble is - already booked for our weeks next year :( Never mind we will be back. Thanks

Home from home

The White House is spacious, but also cosy and homely. It's also very well-equipped, especially if you decide to do your cooking at home rather than eat out (and it's such a nice house to eat at, either indoors or out). Definitely a great place to relax in the evenings. There's a local shop about five minutes away that keeps all the essentials, and the Coop in the town has a good range too. The location is ideal for the north beaches (and beach bars) and for walking to Ballard Down and Studland, but it's also only 15 minutes walk to the centre of Swanage in the other direction. There's a pub just over the road (a bit quirky but fine) and a lovely park round the corner that has a good children's play park, or is ideal for a constitutional if you bring your dog. The open-top bus to Bournemouth via Studland goes from the end of the road if you fancy sightseeing the easy way . Very much recommended and I'd be happy to return.

Myself and my family thoroughly enjoyed our stay. A beautiful house, so very comfy, spotlessly clean and welcoming. The house is in such a great location to explore Swanage. We loved it so much we even booked a week for next year whilst we were there! Thank you Sian for being the best host!
