Description

A rustic secluded woodland cottage in the heart of Clyne Valley Country Park. The Keeper's Cottage was originally built in the mid 1800s as the gamekeeper's cottage to for Clyne Estate. It has a rich history and when the estate was owned by the Vivian family of Copperopolis fame many dignitaries stayed on the Estate and enjoyed hunting deer in the woods including King Edward VII. It is perfect for a large family or group of friends and has many delightful features including a wood burning stove, a large garden with BBQ area, and ample parking.

The rural setting means that here are many local walks and mountain bike trails nearby. The location is also perfectly situated as a base to explore the Gower Peninsula. The property is very secluded and is accessed via a 1 mile long stone track through the woods, and is a short 15 min drive away (3 miles) from the main Clyne Farm Centre site.

On the ground floor is a kitchen, open plan dining room and lounge with views over woodland. There is also a double bedroom, L-shaped bunk bed room (perfect for kids), twin bedded room with ensuite shower room, bathroom and television room. The first floor has a double bedroom and an adjacent bathroom.

The cottage is pet friendly (extra supplement of £5 per animal per night).

The cottage can interconnect with Barn Owl Lodge next door to sleep 16.
