Description
Secluded stone villa with private pool, superfast fibre wifi and flexible sleeping arrangements - please visit our website to see a short videoThe whole house, grounds and pool are exclusively yours, and the property is not overlooked by anyone else ... so you get total privacy, all to yourselves.
Just a few minutes from shops, bars and restaurants.
Maison Boye combines the ancient charm and character of a 200 year old Quercy property with all the requirements for modern living. It has exposed oak beams, walls a yard thick, a traditional log fireplace, quarry tile floors ... plus bright new bathrooms, a contemporary kitchen, and a generous helping of home entertainments. It stands in private grounds of over an acre, has a large 10m x 5m swimming pool (with Roman steps, a water slide, underwater lighting and safety alarm), a sun terrace, and a shaded pergola patio with built-in stone barbecue.
Maison Boye is equipped with superfast WiFi including poolside coverage, UK satellite radio & TV reception, AudioPro portable streamer, Playstation games console, portable air conditioners, dishwasher, washing machine, freezer, twin fridges etc. etc. .
The property is fully serviced with bedmaking, laundry, linen and towels provided, and has visiting pool maintenance every week.
Very flexible accommodation makes Maison Boye suitable for a wide range of bookings - from discerning couples in the low season, through to a maximum of 10, such as two families with children sharing in the summer. Ideal for 4 to 8 at any time!
Rather than hide the laundry costs in with the rent (which disadvantages smaller parties) we charge for it separately at £35 per person. This includes all the bedding, bathroom towels, and tea-towels.
We typically run with a Saturday changeover (although this can be flexible in the low season), and we welcome family groups, couples and well behaved pets, but don't accept bookings for events such as stag or hen parties.
Note: New larger beds (160cm x 200cm, bigger than UK King size) will be in place for 2026.

Leave ReviewAnother amazing holiday stay
By Team Whitley on 09-Aug-2025We were lucky enough to secure an August stay for the second year running at this amazing place. Extended family group from Grandparents to Grand-kids and everyone in between. The house was just as good as we remembered, immaculately clean for our arrival with rooms configured as requested. Pool was amazing and the outdoor spaces perfect for an after dark BBQ. Once again we mixed it up withs days by the pool, canoeing, swimming in rivers, biking and trail walking as well as a day out to the Dordogne for some caves! we ventured into Caylus several times, both during the day and in the early evening for a cold drink. Hoping to be back next year. Simply, thanks to the owners.

Thanks for your return visit this year, and also for your immediate re-booking for 2026! Our own children grew up with Maison Boye as their holiday home (and still do!) and it's a great pleasure now for us to know your family is too.
August Family Holiday 2024 at Boye
By Whitley family on 10-Aug-2024We stayed in August 2024, family group of seven from Grandparents to grandkids and everything in between. It was amazing. We have stayed all over Europe over the years but this is by far the best house / property we have had the luck to find, so much so we have already booked for next year. As soon as we rounded the corner of the driveway and saw the place for the first time there was a collective "wow". We were still saying wow after settling in, enjoying the barbeque and having a midnight swim whilst watching shooting stars overhead. Everything about the house was really well thought through, well stocked DVDs and family board games, books, and an amazing welcome gift from the owners. The wi-fi was excellent throughout the house and in the patio areas. The local area is equally impressive, we took road and mountain bikes so was able to enjoy the hills! We spent a day exploring the local trails on foot . We walked into the town daily for fresh bread and an ice-cream. We rounded the week off with a 10km family canoe trip from a nearby town, great value and great fun. An amazing house in an amazing area of France.

Fantastic, relaxing gite with a great village close by
By L Gascoigne on 29-Jun-2024What a find. A spacious well equipped and clean gite in a quiet location but with a fantastic village five minutes drive away or by short walk by country lane down to the village centre. The gite is all yours, no neighbours, no shared areas, just privacy. Swimming pool was first class as was the ability to relax indoors or outdoors with all amenities catered for. Many a late night at the outdoor dinner table eating from the bbq. Tranquility. Couple of excellent restaurants in the village as well as a butchers, bakery and a small supermarket. Great location to explore the region. Highly recommended and would return. Excellent communication from owners before, during and after when we needed it.

Thank you Lee, it was a pleasure having you stay. Those stay-at-home nights dining on the BBQ terrace are always special for us too!
A Secluded Idyll
By N Clarke on 07-Feb-2024What a great house; if you want a peaceful secluded space, that's close enough to a beautiful old town to get supplies and eat out, this is it. The owners have thought of everything, provide comprehensive information about the property and the area and all communication is clear and punctual. My wife and I had such a good time, we've already booked again. No brainer.....

Thank you very much for your kind words Nick, and yes, I can confirm you're booked in for the same weeks again next year. Best wishes, Paul.
Very Happy
By Liz Bousfield on 27-Aug-2022We had a wonderful holiday at Maison Boye. We were a party of four adults with three children that as you’d expect spent most days just relaxing around the pool, which the kids totally loved of course, and we liked that it had a clever alarm to let us know if anyone fell in. It felt like we’d escaped to a secret place a million miles away from anyone else, but could break that spell by walking down to Caylus for dinner (top tip: the handmade pizzas at Au Bon Coté des Choses). Although thinking about it now the lazy evenings we stayed in were probably best, sitting out under the cane roof on the terrace with its pretty lights, the BBQ kept busy and the local wine flowing! Highly recommended and definitely on our shortlist for the future.

Hi Liz, You've just rebooked for next year, thank you, and welcome to our growing band of regulars!
A real gem
By Crockett on 09-Jul-2022We stayed at Maison Boye with our 9 month old, 6 and 9 year old children for two weeks. The house had everything we needed and Paul the owner made some great suggestions on the best room for the baby and the older two which was all great. The house is very isolated, with ample garden and home space, which we loved - we used the What Three Words app to get there. The pool was perfect for our kids to swim and play all day - they loved the slide. There are super towns, places for activities and restaurants to visit - all nearby. And the house manual recommends some great places to try which we found very helpful. Paul was always quick to reply to any communications. This home is very special and a place to create some wonderful memories. Thank you for having us - we will be back.
