We stayed at Maison Boye with our 9 month old, 6 and 9 year old children for two weeks. The house had everything we needed and Paul the owner made some great suggestions on the best room for the baby and the older two which was all great. The house is very isolated, with ample garden and home space, which we loved - we used the What Three Words app to get there. The pool was perfect for our kids to swim and play all day - they loved the slide. There are super towns, places for activities and restaurants to visit - all nearby. And the house manual recommends some great places to try which we found very helpful. Paul was always quick to reply to any communications. This home is very special and a place to create some wonderful memories. Thank you for having us - we will be back.
Tucked away down its own private lane in the countryside it feels like you're completely alone in paradise, yet it's surprisingly close to town. There was nothing better than a day of lounging around the pool followed by an evening stroll down to one of the local restaurants for dinner on a terrace overlooking the valley or rooftops! The house, pool and garden were all bigger than expected from the pictures and of course it was great to have such a lovely place all to ourselves. We hope to visit again.
What a fantastic find! We were a party of six adults and we had a great week. The property is very quiet, peaceful and secluded with plenty of room for us all. The pool is lovely and we spent many an hour sitting on the steps, chatting, reading and drinking local wine, perfect! The bbq was well used and we enjoyed a lot of fish from the supermarket in a nearby town and from the local market. The local town is within walking distance however it is in a valley so it is a steep hill walk on the way back so may not be suitable for everyone. The town is not really touristy, which we loved. There is a selection of shops, including a fantastic bakery and an off licence where you can bring a bottle(s!) and buy some very cheap local wine. We will be back!
