Overview
Description
A converted stone-built barn housing a self-contained gite with sole use of the garden, outdoor kitchen and stunning, private 12 metre pool (heating available on request) in a beautiful, unspoilt part of France. Perfect for a relaxing holiday, with an excellent restaurant in the village, it is within easy reach of amenities, historic bastide villages and vineyards to taste the local Gaillac wine. Many of the local villages have weekly markets, including our favourite in St Antonin, and there is also kayaking, horse-riding, walking and cycling nearby. The gite is bright and well equipped including a Nespresso machine, dishwasher and washing machine. Outside there is an attractive garden with plenty of spots for relaxing and eating, or maybe for an evening apero drink? There is even a petanque court if you fancy some gentle exercise!Bedroom Details

Leave ReviewA wonderful, peaceful gite
By Sara on 28-Jun-2025We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. The beautiful gite provided everything we needed. The air conditioning in each room was a massive bonus. It was so relaxing. The pool and garden area was spotlessly maintained. Our week was so hot that the pool was greatly appreciated. The information manual was extremely informative. Thank you so much for a wonderful holiday.
Highly recommend this property
By Sonia on 08-May-2025Lovely well equipped gite for all weather conditions, surrounded by stunning scenery. The owners have really put a lot of thought into the accommodation providing a Nespresso machine (nice touch), hairdryer, towels, crockery, cooking utensils and even books and DVDs! On sunny days we had the beautiful pool to relax, coupled with lovely walks in the evening. It rained on one day which didn’t stop us visiting Saint-Antonin-Noble-Val for the Sunday market (must do) and had a cozy evening in at the gite watching DVDs drinking lovely wine purchased from Domaine de Lamothe vineyard. Felt very at home here and could have easily stayed longer. We’ll definitely be back. Feedback from friends I travelled with: Very pretty, quaint gite in an excellent location. Very clean, including the large pool, which has a great bar area. It was perfect for a relaxing friends’ get together and we all wished we could have stayed longer! Lovely tranquil gite. Well equipped with everythinng we needed for our 5 days in the French countryside. We really enjoyed our stay
Fabulous stay
By Rachel on 24-May-2025We had an excellent stay here! The Gite is well equipped and very comfortable. We particularly appreciated the Nespresso coffee machine! We also found the bed really comfy and slept really well. The pool area provided a beautiful place to soak up the sun and swim. There is also a covered area which provided some shade when we wanted to read. The setting is beautiful with fields and vineyards all around. It was lovely to sit out in the evening and enjoy lovely local wine and produce. Would recommend visiting local vineyards for tasting and opportunities to buy. We couldn’t fault this stay, we will definitely be back!
