Fantastic luxury house in the middle of nature
By Vicky L on 30-Apr-2025We had a wonderful week! Mike and Sophia are incredibly welcoming and did everything they could to make our stay wonderful. The house was absolutely perfect! Everything was beautiful, comfortable, clean, and luxurious. The outdoors were just as stunning. Everything on the estate was meticulously maintained and looked beautiful. We could go for walks right from the house. There are several pubs in the area. We had a fantastic holiday!
Piece of Paradise
By Thomas T on 31-May-2025Sophia and Mike own a little piece of paradise. The cottage is located next to the main house, surrounded by meadows, pastures, hills, and the rushing River Tavy. It's beautifully and comfortably furnished, with everything you could need. You can hike in the immediate vicinity, or drive for 20 minutes to Dartmoor, where secluded nature, streams, wind, and sheep await (though you might also enjoy staying in the cottage with its horses, dog, rabbits, geese, ducks, and chickens, and simply soaking up the peaceful atmosphere). Day trips to Exeter or the seaside are also easily arranged. The four of us enjoyed a wonderful, quiet, and relaxing week there.

Dartmoor Gem
By Neil Wright on 25-Feb-2025I cannot speak highly enough of the property, the hosts and the location, we simply had a fantastic experience. The property was really well appointed, in great condition and super clean. The location is stunning with fantastic views out across Dartmoor and direct access within minutes to some of the best walking in North Dartmoor. Lastly you will find it difficult to receive a warmer welcome and more accommodating hosts anywhere, thank you so much, we will be back !

By Leon & Joanne Spurrell on 18-Jun-2024Our 2 weeks visit Staring May 18 2024 was amazing. We lucked out with the weather, the accomodations were excellent comfortable, clean , secure and location central and ideal. The views and farm area are such a relaxing environment. The host Sophia and Mike are extremely accomodating, and very passionate about being a host and welcoming guest. We will return for another vacation in the very near future, we love Devon, the accomodation, the local area, the farm wildlife, the serenity and the Host.
