The abundance of space across 2 adjoining house - Castle View has 8 bedrooms, seven of them ensuite plus a large family bathroom with wooden tub, a massive first floor drawing room, a home entertainment room with giant tv, a dining room that seats 14 around an antique haberdasher's table, a dance floor, a second tv snug, a commercial style kitchen in the first house.
A further 3 beds and 3 bathrooms can be found in The Long House attached, making a truly memorable experience for large groups.
The exclusive parking - there is a private walled parking area at the bottom of the garden for up to 7 cars, a true rarity for a Tenby seafront house.
The pretty garden - another rarity, secluded, enclosed and green with lawns, a palm tree, borders, courtyard, decked seating area, outdoor shower and brand new outdoor kitchen.
The friendly town - Tenby is the quintessential seaside town, with award winning beaches, pastel coloured houses, a working harbour, a museum, and shops, galleries, cafes and restaurants in abundance. Perfect for families, walkers, artists, athletes (Ironman Wales is held here), friends, celebrations, retreats - everyone, really!
The huge range of activities - with so much to do in Tenby, indoors and out, some Castle View House guests arrive, park their cars and don't use them again until it's time to go home. Building sandcastles, beach cricket, swimming and paddling can occupy many happy hours, plus boat trips to Caldey Island, paddleboarding on North Beach, sea fishing, golf, indoor climbing, water and adventure sports (to name a few) are found within walking distance.
If you want to explore further afield a 15 minutes drive or less will bring you to a variety of extensive and well run family attractions, including Heatherton World of Activities, Manor Wildlife Park, the Dinosaur Park, Carew Karting, Folly Farm and Battlefield Live. Pembroke Castle, birthplace of Henry VII, is about 20 minutes away, as are the many independent shops of the market town of Narberth. There's plenty going on for all ages and all weathers - too many choices to list them all here!
The breathtaking area - Pembrokeshire is famously beautiful and unspoilt, with 186 miles of magnificent and varied coastline and over 50 beaches. Within easy reach of Tenby there are historic houses and gardens, lily ponds, National Trust woodlands, tidal mills, marinas...
BOOKING INFORMATION:
Week long bookings start on a Friday; during mid / low season three night weekend breaks are Friday - Monday or four nights Monday - Friday. There’s more flexibility for late bookings within two months of the start date. The property can be split into an 8 bed house and a 3 bed house if required. Prices shown are for 8 bed only. Please contact us for price for both properties.
The deposit is 25%, and the balance is due 8 weeks before arrival.
Check in is 4pm, and check out 10am. We will always offer an earlier arrival or later departure time if we don't have same day changeovers. A £300 returnable damage deposit is also payable.

By Caroline Taylor on 20-Oct-2025Elegant town house over several floors ideally and centrally located in Tenby Private secure parking at the rear quite sought after in Tenby. Easy for 6 cars but tight for7 The accommodation suited us well in the main for a group of 14 Very well equipped kitchen and lovely dining area at front of house We particularly enjoyed the first floor front lounge with magnificent views. This was an extremely comfortable room and it was good that there was also a comfortable separate TV room Plenty of books and games available Would highly recommend for large groups
Fantastic house, brilliant location
By William Cook on 24-Oct-2025Our extended family group of 16 took both Castle View and the Long House. They are both excellent and our weekend was a great success. CV is huge, with loads of en-suite double bedrooms of similar standard and enormous communal rooms - dining room, to rooms and living room with outstanding views. The place feels (just slightly) institutional - think high-class but lived-in boarding school rather than glitzy show-home, but has everything you need, is brilliantly located and we thoroughly recommend! The owners are friendly and responsive also.
Fantastic views across the beach

The house is huge with a lot of stairs - it took some time to look around and decide which bedroom everyone should have! The views from the lounge and second floor front bedrooms were amazing. The house was very comfortable - the beds were super comfy, and the lounge and dining room had more than enough furniture for our group of 11 to all sit together. There was plenty of entertainment at the house, which was welcome because the weather wasn’t great while we were there. The ground floor games room was a firm favourite with the kids, along with the Xbox snug, and the tv room on the first floor. The main lounge is set up for chatting/reading, and there are some games dotted around the house which we made use of. The kitchen is practical, but not somewhere anyone wanted to spend much time because it’s dark and tucked away from the rest of the house. We didn’t do any cooking while we were there. The house also has a very nice outdoor bbq area, but the weather wasn’t good enough for us to utilise it. Downsides of the house were occasional drain smells in a couple of the many en-suites, and complicated access to parking. A map of the route to access parking would be good. We managed to get five cars in the parking area.

We are not sure a 3 is a fair representation of our communication though given we answered all your queries immediately but will take that on board. Also in the welcome documents we provide detailed drawings and explanation for the car park.
Excellent, cannot fault 10/10
By Deb M on 11-Jul-2025Cannot fault the houses, we took both “Castle View” and the “Long House” for our mixed family and friends large group. There was still plenty of space for all, so you do not feel crowded together, we loved the darts board and piano area / beautiful large upstairs lounge with stunning sea views. The beach is very easily accessible and directly opposite. You are in the centre of Tenby so can walk everywhere very easily. Plenty of parking at the rear. Very clean and tidy, well presented and Matthew has been incredibly helpful throughout the booking process (we discovered a small wasps nest in the garden, it was dealt with the same day). What more can we say - great memories made in our favourite Welsh town of Tenby, we’ve already re-booked for next year 10/10 😊
Castle View is a fantastic house with all you need as a large family group.

Fantastic House

A party of 14, celebrating 2 big birthdays, we booked the main house and the additional 3 bedrooms in the newly renovated Long House. Throughout the booking process, the owner Matthew has been extremely helpful and responsive, I cannot fault the service received. When we first arrived , we were all completely blown away by this lovely property. It exceeded expectations in every way! Huge accommodation, all tastefully decorated and furnished. In particular, the main lounge is just stunning with an amazing view across the sea from the huge bay window. The dining room, with its enormous and interesting dining table, easily seated us all. The kitchen is very well equipped and made preparing and cooking food for a large group as easy as it could possibly be. Everyone was more than happy with their allocate bedroom, particularly as they all had their own bathrooms. Everything was spotlessly clean. The location is perfect - wonderful views over the sea and harbour and also only a couple of minute walk right to the middle of the town. The secure parking for all our cars was also a very welcome added bonus. A truly lovely house which I would recommend to anyone.
