Entry is into the upstairs lounge/diner/kitchen (with views), with 2 bedrooms downstairs (one double, one twin). The shower room is upstairs (no bath). Young visitors are fascinated by the 'upside down house'

Parking permit provided for parking close to the cottage.

Children welcome (high chair provided use at own risk). Sorry, no hen/stag parties. The property has a very steep and very narrow staircase and so is not suitable for the less mobile. Strictly no pets.

Though there is no ‘conventional’ oven and grill there is a combi oven/microwave/grill . This has an oven which is used like any other (and heats up quite quickly) but it is not as big as a normal one.

Short stay rates are calculated as a % of the weekly rate as follows:
2 nights 45%
3 nights 60%
4 nights 70%
5 nights 80%
6 nights 90%

Where the minimum stay is one week, the changeover day is a Saturday, otherwise it is flexible.

A deposit of 25% is payable on booking with the balance due 5 weeks before your stay. Payment can be made by cheque or bank transfer.

Cancellation policy.
We try to be as fair as possible. In the unfortunate event that you have to cancel, refunds will be issued on the following basis – but all refunds will be subject to a £15 admin fee deduction.
If The Cottage can be re-let at the same rate then a full refund will be paid.
If The Cottage can be re-let but only at a lower rate (eg as a last minute booking or for fewer nights) then a refund will be paid minus the difference in rate.
If The Cottage can not be re-let then any monies paid will not be refunded.


A little gem.

We were staying here for the Iron man weekend. The view is amazing especially when the tide is in. Everything you needed was provided plus extras. Heather had thought of everything. The cottage was spotlessly clean when we arrived and all the relevant information we needed was at hand. Having free wi fi was a bonus. The beds were very comfortable also. Overall we had a delightful time here and will definitely be returning.

Little peace of heaven

Love this cottage. Try to stay at least twice a year. Perfectly situated for all the beaches , shops, restaurants ,bars and cafes.
So cosy at anytime of the year. Always immaculate and fully equipped.i hope I can continue to visit for many more years .

Best location ever!

Beautiful little cottage that was perfect for our family of 4.

It had everything we needed and with a beach 1 minute walk either side if the cottage, as well as the town is was perfect.

Owners were very helpful also.

Nothing negative to report. We would love to go back for a longer stay at some point in the future.

One of the Best

Without any doubt this is one of the best views in any cottage where we have stayed. The cottage was well organised and of a very high quality and very comfortable. All communications were excellent and the directions to the cottage very clear. There is parking out front and we were never unable to park. Many pubs and restaurants were within easy walking distance and the Sainsbury Local was no more than 200m away. Tenby itself is really lovely and easy to walk around. The beaches are fantastic and the sea so very clear. Highly recommend both the town and most certainly the cottage. There was plenty of room for two and ample space for a family with two young children. But best of all must be the view from the living room.

No. 2 Pier Hill Tenby.

My impression of this cottage is ... It's absolutely perfect. Situated on the harbour side gives it beautiful views over the tethered boats and the town of Tenby.

The interior of the cottage has been very well brought into the twenty first century with every comfort taken care of. The WiFi worked, the smart TV was also of the highest quality. One minor downside is the size of the shower which unfortunately cannot be made larger due to the size of the bathroom. This is very minor and does not detract from the overall experience of the cottage. The cottage is little more than a three minute walk from the main Street and it's fantastic real ale pubs... The Hope And Anchor and The Buccaneer with the new brewery 'Harbwr' Ales to the rear. I would thoroughly recommend renting this cottasge. I wish my wife and I could have stayed much longer. We loved it there and will definitely book No. 2 Pier Hill Tenby again.

Lovely comfy and cozy cottage with amazing views of the harbour

We absolutely loved our stay at the cottage and couldn't believe how lucky we were to have beaches, pubs, restaurants, shops and amazing hilly walks right on our doorstep! The only downside for us, as a family with a small child, was the lack of a wheelie bin at the property, but we soon got used to recycling on our way to the lovely beaches once we knew the locations of the bins. We will certainly be booking again and must say that this was a truly fantastic holiday with everything you could wish for very close by while still remaining peaceful and quiet in the evenings and at night. Would recommend!

Fantastic place to stay

We have been visiting Tenby every year for the last 28 years. This property is one of the nicest that we have stayed in over the years.

It is in a fantastic location - really close to things but out of the noisiest zone. The cottage is warm, cosy, clean and comfortable. And it even has parking which is incredible in Tenby! All things considered, it is great value for money. Mary was good at communication but not intrusive either.

All it wants now is an en-suite with a bath and I'd be giving it five stars easily!

Lovely little house

If you've seen a photo of Tenby you've probably seen this house. It's right on the quayside in what must be one of the best locations in the town. The long lounge windows make a for beautiful spot to eat your breakfast as the tide comes in and the boats bob around.

Aside from the absence of an (arguably unnecessary) oven, the facilities are excellent. The kitchen is well-equipped with all the mod-cons you'd enjoy at home. There are a couple of decent sized TVs along with a DVD player (DVDs provided) in case the Welsh weather lives up to its reputation. Similarly, the shelves are littered with books & board games to entertain you should you find yourselves trapped inside for a day. Wifi is provided too which is, in my experience, rare for a holiday let but a godsend given the mobile signal (or lack thereof) in the area.

The house is clean and tidy throughout. It's littered with personal touches like ornaments, pictures and just generally nice crockery & utensils etc which make it feel like a home away from home, in contrast to other places I've stayed which have felt sterile and provided only the bare essentials. The owners are clearly proud of their property and rightly so.

Of course, any house can be nice but the real joy of this place is its location. It could not be better. Tenby is a very pretty town but its crown jewel is the harbour and quayside and that's where you get to live for a week.

Pro-tip: check inside the lifeboat station for the next scheduled launch so you can turn up and watch. Spectacular.
