Wonderful cottage in Tideswell in the Peak District. Great views. Very well equipped to meet all requirements. Many recent new additions to cottage such as wooden flooring, log fire (if needed), bedroom mattresses, kitchen equipment etc. which enhanced our experience. Great location for walks with no journey for us longer than 30 minutes away (walks available direct from cottage too). Local Shops, Pubs, Cafes and Restaurants within easy walking distance. Prices reasonable. Good selection of books, games, videos etc. for the children if required. Clear communication links with service provider ensured booking very easy and access problem-free. Will definitely return and will certainly recommend to others
What a wonderful stay we had at Swift Cottage - from the excellent communication with the cottage owner Charles, to the perfect cottage location with beautiful views, we really did have the perfect stay away. A short walk from the village centre and easy access to a multitude of great walks for us & our dogs. Swift Cottage is very clean, has everything you could wish for on your break including a lovely woodburner, plenty of hot water, high quality kitchen appliances and a great bathroom. All in all one of the best holiday cottages we have ever stayed in!
A lovely well equipped cottage in a great location. We found the beds to be very comfortable and the cottage had everything we needed. Swift cottage is perfectly located towards the edge of the village with great views from the front terrace. Only a short walk to the village centre, with its three pubs, chip shop and a Co Op. We found several great dog walks just from our door step, often finishing in the village ready to visit the pub for a drink. A great place to stay, especially for those that like walking or have dogs. The next door neighbour John was extremely helpful and a mind of information regarding the village, restaurants and dog walks. I would definitely return if I visit this area again.
