Myself, husband ,son and dog have just spent October half term week at this cosy little cottage. It is in a great position overlooking the lake but so close to the beach. This was ideal for me as I have walking difficulties and ideal for dog owners .Our dog loved his early morning beach walk and swim. The cottage itself is lovely. Although small it was perfect for us and well equipped with everything you could need. It was very clean and well looked after,the beds were extremely comfortable too. Very prompt attention from the owners at all times. Morag and Peter even posted back my kindle which I had left behind ! So all in all a lovely peaceful break and the sun shining for us every day was the icing on the cake. So thank you Morag and Peter and we will definitely be back next year.
A fabulous cottage and a great base for your Devon experience! With a pub 50 yds away and the beautiful beach on your doorstep it is picture postcard! We love the location and know it well but this was the first visit to Hazelcott and we were thrilled with our stay. We had everything we needed. A very comfortable bed, a washing machine and parking covered with the ticket that covered all local towns. The cottage has a washing machine which is such a bonus so that we didn't need to take too much and bring it home clean. All in all a lovely holiday thank you
