Description
Treflyn Barn is dog friendly, fully self-contained holiday let.The Barn overlooks the Cors Caron Nature Reserve and backs onto the edge of the Cambrian Mountains. The property has oil fired central heating and an electric oven.
Parking is in the barn courtyard.
The barn is set on a hill with great views and offers a place of tranquillity.

The space:
The barn contains 1 double bed, 2 single beds, and a sofa bed in lounge. It has its own garden.
Please note parties over 4 guests will need to extend the sofa bed, for which we provide the bed linen.
Guest access:
The Barn, parking courtyard, and the barn garden.
Outdoor entertainment:
The BBQ area and outdoor seating are great for summer trips.
Other things to note:
The Barn is located 1.5 miles from Tregaron, which has SPAR shop open till late.
There is a sheep fencing around the property but we cannot guarantee adventurous dogs getting through so please be mindful of that.
The barn is connected to Wi-Fi but since this is a secluded location the internet can be unreliable so please bear this in mind if booking with us.
Neighbourhood highlights:
Serene and quiet. There are sheep at neighbouring fields and our dogs on site but kept separate.
Close by to Treflyn Barn is Cors Caron National Nature Reserve, a vast area of wetland filling the broad valley of the River Teifi near Tregaron.
The three raised peat bogs are surrounded by reedbeds, fen, wet grassland, woodland, waterways and ponds, and these varied habitats support a wealth of wildlife.
The fully accessible boardwalk goes over the south-east bog and to the large bog hide where you can enjoy a peaceful view of the landscape and wildlife.

By Jonathon on 10-Sep-20252 friends and I had stayed over for the Rali Ceredigion event, arriving rather late, Chris was more than understanding and still waited up to warmly welcome us. The accomodation itself was clean and cosy, more than we expected. And the surrounding areas were gorgeous. checking in and out on the respective days was a breeze. will definitely be staying again!

Breathtaking
By Edmund on 18-Aug-2025The location of this was breathtaking, and very peaceful. House was well equipped and the beds were comfortable. The local area is absolutely stunning. While quite small the nearby village has a shop and a couple of takeaways, as well as a few pubs.

The barn itself, had great facilities and was exceptionally peaceful. Chris was a great host and gave lots of advice of where to visit in the surrounding area. We definitely would love to return. Thank you so much for having us to stay!
