Just spent a lovely week at Bay house. It''s perfect for a family of four - and so close to the beach, you can pop back for lunch if prefer a non-sandy sandwich!. It is well equipped & has all you need (Mentioning this for anyone gauging an online food delivery - there is currently a good under-counter fridge, with a separate adjacent slimline wine fridge that can also hold beer!. Also a separate freezer in the utility room). The lockable utility easily stored four bikes (two adult & two kids - try the Camel trail from Padstow to Wadebridge and back! 5m each way - you can also hire bikes at either end). Comfy beds and a great shower! A few mins walk & you have fantastic rockpools on the left side and a lovely big sandy beach on the right - great for body boarding. There is a bar/ wetsuit shop/ café by the car park for ice-creams, coffee or a sundowner!... loo''s 50p - but beware, Trevone Bay car park has ANPR that you could easily miss and is not advertised - so if you drive in, you may get a ticket if drive out only a few minutes later, as we did once, arriving early. You won''t be using it at Bay House, but just worth mentioning. The owner is so easy to deal with and very responsive. Highly recommended and hope to return soon.
We had the best week staying at Bay House. It had everything we could have asked for, for us and our children. Clean, well equipped, very comfortable beds and the perfect location. The garage with all the buckets and spades, body boards and fishing nets was like a treasure chest for the children. It was just perfect. Thank you, Alison and Wendy for all your well explained emails and messages and for being so welcoming. We loved Trevone. It''s a very special place.
This property was absolutely perfect for our family of four (kids aged 7 and 4). Short 2 min walk to the beach, with everything we needed on our doorstep. The house was clean and tidy and extremely well-equipped. Couldn''t ask for anything more.
