antastically located near the south coast and on the disused trainline there are so many activities and places near by. The onsite indoor and outdoor pools, food, games, sports and bar are more than you would have hoped for. The accommodation is spacious, well built, well designed and it definitely has a 5 star feel. The gardens are so typical of Cornwall and very well maintained. We go most years and we have a different but familiar experience every time. Such an easy holiday.
2nd time at The Valley and it did not disappoint! We came for the first time in 2021 and then returned at the start of September! This time we start in one of their Croft cottages, which had a brand new kitchen in with lovely american Fridge freezer! Was a great upgrade from the last time we stayed, and while we didn't think it could've got any better than last time this made it better! Last time we came was in COVID and they had to had the individual pool slots, we are so glad they have kept this as our kids are quite shy and wouldn't be able to enjoy it as much when lots of other people are there We were also delighted they sorted the restaurant out! Last time in COVID it was barely open, however this time it was open lots more and the food was great! We'll be back again but hopefully won't leave it as long this time!
The cottage was beautifully furnished with comfort in mind. The beds very comfortable. The kitchen was spacious, superbly and generously equipped with everything you would need including V&B China. It really was ‘home from home’ and did not have the feel of a ‘holiday’ cottage. The setting is peaceful and a lovely base to explore Cornwall. Absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing stay. The staff are excellent, very attentive but not intrusive.
Friendly, great location, super friendly and helpful staff. We just love it and have already been three times in recent with various grown up family members (and dog). Truro and coastal walks are both great.
My husband and our two boys stayed at the valley for five nights . We have a fantastic time here . The cottage we stayed in was just wonderful, it had everything we could possibly need . The beds are amazing we slept like logs . So clean and tidy . Excellent staff couldn’t have been more welcoming and helpful. Excellent base for exploring Cornwall . We will definitely be returning.
