La Maison Marguerite is a 3 bedroom house with an open plan sitting room/dining room which leads on to a covered terrace and pool area.

The kitchen is a Farrow and Ball painted kitchen with black granite tops with all the modern appliances to make your holiday as relaxing as possible. The kitchen also has french doors which leads onto the covered terrace with seating for up to 8 people.

The main bedroom is downstairs with a separate loo and bathroom which has a free standing bath and shower, which is ideal if there are just two of you using the house. Upstairs there a two more bedrooms the double bedroom having its own separate ensuite and a separate balcony which is lovely if you just feel like a few minutes peace and quiet. The third bedroom has two single beds which can be joined to make a double bed, This bedroom looks over the pool with a view to Uzes. This also has French doors leading onto a lovely terrace completed in May 2018 with fantastic views.

The house is south facing and therefore gets the benefit of the sun all day. However there is a covered terrace when you want to still be outside but need a bit of shade. The pool is a 9 x 4.5 salt water pool (not suitable for diving) and is enclosed by a wall and security fencing. We ask that all children that come to the house can swim. We also provide a bbq and a table tennis table as well.

In 2021 we put a new woodburning stove into the property. The house does have central heating as well. This house has now become an ideal location for a winter break as well. However the swimming pool will not be available from the end of October to March.

Uzes has been described as the Hidden Gem of the South of France. Uzes is located 20 miles west of Avignon and is a short distance from the Pont Du Gard, great for anyone that likes canoeing. Montpellier also has a choice of beeches and the medieval town of Aigues Morte nearby is worth a visit. If you are interested in wine then a visit to Chateauneuf du pape is well worthwhile. Uzes itself has a food market every Wednesday and a large market selling most things on a Saturday. Uzes itself always seems to have lot of thing going and lots of places to eat and we have never been disappointed in any restaurant or cafe we have been to. Other areas worth exploring are Avignon, Orange and Nimes. Infact there is so much you can do you might have to come again. I do leave information on things to do in the area but the tourist information office in Uzes is also very helpful.

I have a flat rate of £1,600.00 per week. This includes taxes and cleaning, however if you wish to have the pool heated for your stay it will be an extra 50 euros per week.
