Description
Maison du Bûcheron is a newly renovated luxury barn in a traditional Savoyarde farmhouse, offering amazing views across the Vallée d'Abondance.Maison du Bûcheron is located minutes away from the Portes de Soleil ski resorts, the spa towns of Evian-les-Bains, Thonon-les-Bains on Lake Geneva or Swiss mountain spas of Val d’Illiez and Lavey-les-Bains.
Maison du Bûcheron is ideal for families or smaller groups of adults who wish to self-cater but we also offer breakfast, lunch and or dinner.
The space
Each bedroom offers a king size bed or can be adapted to twin beds if preferred as well as 2 additional beds for families.
Guest access
Maison du Bûcheron has been sympathetically converted and is above our own home in the farmhouse - we have a large garden - you will have your own private entrance, allocated space for yourselves and use of the decking with comfortable garden furniture plus table and chairs and a gas BBQ.
Other things to note
You very welcome to bring your dog with you. We do have a friendly dog of our own who is always eager to make friends. There are a few house rules -
Please do not leave your pet on the premises alone.
They are not permitted on the furniture or beds.
You are required to clean up after your dog in the garden.
There is a 50€ surcharge per dog. Payable on arrival.
Please note that due to the energy crisis and in an effort to be more environmentally conscious that there is a surcharge for the electricity used during your stay - a meter reading is made on arrival and departure and charged at the current tariff.
