Description
Villa Warica - Valbonne Vllage7 mins walk (500m) from Valbonne village . pet friendly . fully air conditioned . extremely well equipped and recently renovated
Holidaymakers are attracted to Valbonne for its quintessential Provençal charm and authentic atmosphere. Unlike the more crowded coastal resorts, Valbonne offers a tranquil and genuine village experience. The unique 16th-century architecture, with its neat gridded streets and central square, is a major draw. The village's strong sense of community, evident in its vibrant Friday market and local festivals, makes it feel like a "living village" rather than just a tourist attraction. Additionally, its strategic location provides the best of both worlds: a peaceful, rural retreat with easy access to the glamorous beaches and attractions of the French Riviera. The presence of artisan shops, art galleries, and a high-quality food scene also contributes to its appeal.
The best place to eat is subjective, but Valbonne has a high-quality dining scene. For a classic village experience, the Café des Arcades is a popular and charming choice, located right in the main square. It's also likely one of the closest options but there really are not any bad restaurants in Valbonne.
The best attractions in and around Valbonne include:
The Valbonne Village and Friday Market: This is the top attraction and a must-visit for every guest. The village's historic grid plan and vibrant market are a true highlight.
Grasse (7 km away): Known as the world capital of perfume, guests can visit perfume factories like Fragonard or Molinard and even create their own fragrance.
Biot (7.4 km away): A medieval hilltop village famous for its art and traditional glassblowing.
Mougins (5.5 km away): Another charming medieval village known for its art galleries and gourmet restaurants.
Cannes (12 km away) and Antibes (12 km away): These famous coastal towns offer beaches, luxury shopping, and beautiful old towns to explore.
For a longer trip, guests could visit:
Saint-Paul de Vence (10.8 km away): A stunning medieval fortified village famous for its art galleries, including the renowned Maeght Foundation.
Nice (22 km away): The capital of the French Riviera, offering a beautiful old town, the famous Promenade des Anglais, and numerous museums.
Monaco (30 km away) and Èze (30 km away): For a taste of glamour, guests can visit Monaco, and on the way, the picturesque village of Èze perched on a cliffside.
The Gorges du Verdon (around 70 km away): Known as the "Grand Canyon of Europe," this is a breathtaking natural wonder perfect for hiking, kayaking, and enjoying the spectacular scenery.

By Stephen and Anita on 30-Jul-2025We had a lovely time. The villa is great, real quality, and a lovely pool. Everything we needed from a really well fitted kitchen, great bbq, lovely bedrooms and bathrooms. Walking distance to Valbonne - so convenient. Gill and Alastair, the owners, were always available to deal with any queries. We will be back next year.
We had an amazing stay at Gillian's!
By Kristin on 07-Jul-2025Beautiful house and walking distance to Valbonne which offers cozy streets and a small square. We got contact info for a driver who was flexible and could drive us where we wanted (supermarket, Grasse, Mougins, etc.) We got what we needed from cots and chairs and enjoyed the outdoor areas with the possibility of putting the children in cooled rooms when they were going to sleep. The kitchen is well equipped and the house has the possibility to grill both on gas and with charcoal. We had a great week :)
A Truly Exceptional Stay – Beyond All Expectations
By Diala on 22-Jul-2025I can’t say enough good things about this incredible villa. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that every detail had been thoughtfully planned to create a perfect home-away-from-home experience. The house is so beautiful, comfortable and well-equipped. The kitchen is a dream with almost every appliance and utensil you could possibly need. Cooking here was an absolute joy. What truly made this stay stand out, though, was Gillian, our host. She is unbelievably generous, responsive, and kind. She went above and beyond — even offering a mid-stay sheet change and clean. Any question or small comment was met with immediate and thoughtful action. I would return in a heartbeat — and recommend this villa to anyone looking for a worry-free, and totally comfortable stay.
