Description
An attractive and spacious three bedroom bungalow enjoying a pleasant view over treetops towards the sea. 10 minutes from the beach and shops. Sea Grove offers very comfortable family accommodation. The large deck/ patio with fantastic coastal views is a perfect place for alfresco dining on a summer evening whilst enjoying a glass of wine.Ventnor has a delightful seafront with a crescent shaped beach of sand and shingle. Walk the beautiful coastal paths along the sea wall to Bonchurch or to the ‘secret cove’ at Steephill.
The centre of Ventnor benefits a main shopping street, parks and gardens, a good variety of shops, pubs and eateries with freshly caught fish on sale in the Haven.
Local places of interest include the Ventnor Botanical Gardens, Isle of Wight Coastal Visitors Centre, Appuldurcombe House, Isle of Wight Glass, a donkey sanctuary and St Boniface Down, which is the highest point on the Isle of Wight. Nearby are Blackgang Chine and the pretty thatched villages of Old Shanklin and Godshill.
As well as the excellent walking along the heritage coastline, there are varied sport and leisure activities including cycling, boat trips and sea-fishing. There is a local Cricket Club, golf course, Pitch & Putt lawn, tennis courts and a children’s playground.

Second time here, still love it!
By Hannah on 05-Sep-2016This was our second stay at Sea Grove. We love the location and the views – amazing to wake up in the comfy bed and look out at the sea! The bungalow is a good size, bright and airy, the shower is decent. The kitchen is nice and big and well equipped. It's easy to walk to the esplanade or into town, or go down Castle Road to the Botanic Gardens, Steephill Cove or to pick up the coastal path. Sadly it's already booked for October half term or we'd be back again.
Lovely accommodation in an excellent location
By Linda on 13-Nov-2017Seagrove is perfect - spacious, cosy (we stayed in November) and comfortable. The views from the bungalow are stunning and the location is excellent as a base for visiting any part of the Island. Seagrove is dog friendly, as are many of the pubs serving food in the area - we felt welcome in most places, which was lovely. All in all, just perfect!

By Robert on 24-Sep-2018We enjoyed our stay in this well equipped comfortable bungalow. It had every thing we needed. The garden is lovely and we were visited by a fox, red squirrel and several birds. Being a small Island we could easily get to where we wanted to go quickly.
Early summer break
By Shirley on 18-Nov-2018Lovely bungalow in a convenient location in Ventnor, within walking distance of the town centre. Well thought out accommodation. We especially liked the lounge, which has a whole glazed wall and French doors opening out onto the patio. The garden is completely enclosed and was great for our dog, who loved to sunbathe on the patio! Surrounding trees mean that the garden is a real sun-trap and is sheltered from the worst of the winds. Great kitchen. Comfortable beds. We would definitely stay here again if we were in the area.

A lovely bungalow!
By Alison on 19-Jun-2017This is our second year at Sea Grove and we will definitely be back for a third! The accommodation is very spacious and comfortable with a lovely secluded patio area. Everything you could need is here, including plenty of tea and coffee for a cuppa on arrival! The bungalow is in an ideal location with the beautiful Ventnor Park at the bottom of the road and the coastal path just beyond that. Perfect for dog walking (if you don't mind hills!) Ventnor town is also within walking distance. We had a lovely holiday and would recommend Sea Grove to anyone.
