Description
Bonito is situated in Ventnor with panoramic sea views. The bungalow can sleep 2 adults and 1 child and comprises of open plan lounge/kitchen/dining, the large bay window has outstanding sea views, shower room, double bedroom, and small second bedroom with 6ft single bed there is also a side conservatory with seating. Relax and enjoy the sea views from the decking to the front of the property or enjoy the tiered garden to the rear with terraces and seating and from here you can still enjoy the stunning sea views. The property also benefits from parking through a 5 bar gate at the front of the property (please use the drive area in front and adjacent to the garage and not in the slip road leading to it)This Victorian seaside town offers buildings full of character and is one of the sunniest spots on the Island. There’s lovely sand/shingle beach and an esplanade which is all within a short stroll from the cottage. In addition to the main shopping street where you will find a selection of small supermarkets to include a Co-op and Tesco Express, there are parks and gardens, museums and the Winter Gardens - an entertainment venue with a growing reputation for its theatre, its concerts and comedy and dance shows.
There are a number of great restaurants in Ventnor or if you fancy a take-away to enjoy by the beach, the Ventnor Haven Fishery on the Esplanade sell fantastic fish & chips, locally caught and prepared to order.
Ventnor Botanic Garden lies in the remarkable microclimate at the heart of the famous 'Undercliff.' This unique garden is protected from the cold northerly winds by chalk downs. In addition to enjoying the lovely gardens, it also hosts events and exhibitions and there is a restaurant and Cafe on-site for refreshments; lunch or coffee and cake!
From the esplanade you can take the level walk, along the sea wall to Bonchurch, or walk along the cliff path towards Steephill Cove, a beautiful sheltered bay only accessed by foot.

stunning location
By N/A on 22-Sep-2024Mature but beautifully maintained small bungalow in a stunning location above Ventnor. Access would be difficult for people with disabilities as there are steep steps. Parking would also prove difficult for some because of the slope. Would you return?
Great Location
By Melvyn on 20-Jun-2024Had a fabulous stay. Perfect location, lovely views, all our needs catered for. Would have liked WiFi and the toilet to be larger but realise the confines of an older bungalow. Otherwise perfect, even had a badger visiting nightly, wonderful to watch.
Superb location

Lovely home
By Colin on 06-May-2022Really nice location with stunning sea views. Bungalow is really clean and comfortable. Visitors should note that the steps from the drive to the bungalow and from the bungalow to the garden are very steep, however you are rewarded with those views! The bungalow is well equipped and we had a lovely bunch of flowers and shortbread to welcome us on our arrival, oh and a pint of milk in the fridge!

What a beautiful view and a lovely, comfy and tidy home

Yes the shower is small and the bed a bit hard but you can't please everyone and it does the job. We were so pleased with our stay and the response from Island homes was quick and helpful. Thank you for having us.
