On the ground floor is a family bathroom; toilet, washbasin and bath with overhead shower. Within the the stone cottage portion of this home - a twin bedroom; an adjoining barn provides the third bedroom, which can be arranged as two singles or a Queen sized double - with views onto your garden and across the valley beyond. This bedroom also has direct access to a private terrace, perfect for the morning sun, coffee and croissants.

Discover the history of this manor, it’s intrigues and mysterious carvings, it’s beautiful gardens and large pool. Thank you for sharing your stunning rustic villa with us.

By The Hughes family on 09-Aug-2025

Thank you for sharing your stunning rustic villa with us. We fell in love with this beautiful hide away and its ivy covered veranda the moment we entered. The surrounding countryside is breath taking and it was a joy to spend our days exploring the charming villages along the Dordogne. We will never forget the peaceful evenings in the garden watching the wonderful light display of the Perseid meteor shower. All in all,the weather, local food and beautiful countryside made for an unforgettable experience. We very much hope to return, The Hughes Family.

What a fabulous house!

By Alan,Claire & Alexander on 02-Aug-2025

What a fabulous house! We have loved being here especially sitting on the terace in the morning and evenings. The house is very comfortable and has everything you need. Dave has been a wonderful host who gave us lots of history about the area. The weather has been amazing and there are so many places to visit around here. I took a hot air balloon around the Dordogne for my 60th which was simply amazing! Thank you so much for a fantastic week. Alan, Claire & Alexander.

What a relaxed two weeks we had!

By Smitsen-Albers on 21-Jun-2025

What a relaxed two weeks we had! Thank you Dave and Family! We enjoyed our stay again! The funny thing is : everytime we see new things and we like it that we also recognize "old" things .Thats why it feels like home! The last two times we stayed in May, now in July. We have seen your grapes which are growing and the apples in the trees. Our children enjoyed as well (and they slept very well !!) so we have time to read two books. So good. Take care and see you next year. Best wishes for the next period. Family Smitsen-Albers.
