Description

es Bouleaux (pron. Lay Boolow) is situated on the edge of Villetoureix village. The house is spacious throughout with 2 bedrooms on the ground floor and 2 bedrooms in the tower extension upstairs. The garden is very private with a substantial laurel hedge surrounding the outside space. The swimming pool (10mtrs X 5mtrs) is for your exclusive use and is 1.2mtrs deep throughout, no deep end. Garden gates either side of the property help keep the young children safely in view.
Everything is provided for your enjoyment and convenience, including broadband internet, a widescreen TV home entertainment system and lots of play equipment. The young ones should never be telling their parents "I'm bored!"
The idea is that parents can have a holiday too!
Although you can walk to the nearest shops and restaurants, just a mile or 2 from the villa, a car is needed for access and for visiting the many local places of interest. Villetoureix is approximately 6-7 hours drive from the central English Channel ports such as Le Havre and 9-10 hours from Calais. The nearest airport is Bergerac, less than 1 hour away, served by Ryan Air and British Airways. Car hire is available at Bergerac airport.

Lovely 2 weeks

Had a lovely two weeks in Les Bouleaux. We have been doing villas/gites in France for many years and found this villa to be among the best we ever stayed in. It was very well equipped and Paul and Val had thought of everything to make it a memorable experience, including a well stocked library. Plenty to do and see in the area with two convenient supermarkets nearby and a very good market in Riberac on a Friday. The pool was welcomed on the few hot days we had there. Paul and Val made the process of booking etc easy and were very helpful when needed any information. Would recommend Les Bouleaux highly. Tesni and Jim, Holiday France Direct review, September 2021

Second stay at Les Bouleaux

Just wanted to let you know what a wonderful time we''re having here at Les Bouleaux. On checking the visitor book we were here for almost the same week (5th to 12th June) in 2004. The house has matured beautifully with age. The garden is so secluded now the laurel hedge has grown up. The new kitchen is wonderful and best of all the cupboards are stuffed to the gunnels with all the things you could possibly want. The pergola is brilliant for shade and dining outside.
