By Rach on 24-Apr-2025We had the most amazing time at Windmill Barns, peaceful and relaxing, it was so well equipped and adapted to everyone's needs. The owners were so lovely and on hand when needed. Loved feeding the animals. Thank you so much and will definitely return xx
I booked this accommodation to take my sister away
By Liz Foley on 04-Jun-2025I booked this accommodation to take my sister away. I have found it difficult finding accessible accommodation that is more than just wide doorways and a profiling bed. Her requirements include ceiling tracking, mobile hoist, air mattress, shower/toilet seat and more. Even though I was informed this met my requirements I never truly relaxed until I got there. It didn’t disappoint! The barn has been built with such good attention to detail for people with a disability while maintaining a homely atmosphere. It was spacious, bright, clean. There was plenty of parking and access to private outdoor space. You need to drive to go anywhere but with access to different towns in reasonable distance this was not an issue. The owner lives on site and we thought we could contact with any issues at any time. It worked perfectly try for our group and my sister had her first holiday in 8 years!!
We had a lovely stay at Windmill Barns.
By Lisa Hopkins on 10-Jun-2025We had a lovely stay at windmill barns. Took our 90 year old mum who is sadly suffering from established Parkingsons so all equipment in situ was really helpful the peace and quiet enabled good nights sleep for us all. David welcomed us on arrival and had checked in with us whilst travelling. He was incredibly helpful and on hand if any needs occurred. A beautiful spot and well worth the journey.
The most amazing place to stay with incredible views.
By Rula Henwood on 01-Oct-2025The most amazing place to stay with incredible views. Our friend Charlotte had so much independence thanks the cottage having everything a disabled person needs. We have already discussed and planning to book again for next year. If you have additional needs or physical needs this is the place to go. Beautiful setting, everything you need.
