Leave ReviewWe had a wonderful time at Windmill Barns.
By Miranda Fretwell on 16-Jan-2025We had a wonderful time at Windmill Barns. It's a beautiful spot and the accessible accommodation is excellent. Everything has been thought of. Our wheelchair user specially enjoyed going up and down in the lift. The rest of us were very comfortable as well. There was plenty of room in the open plan downstairs for us all to relax and enjoy each others' company. We loved feeding the goats and pigs and using the hot tub. The owners were very friendly and helpful.
We stayed in this weekend with friends, one of whom is in an electric wheelchair and we couldn’t fault anything about the place.
By Rachel Heppenstall on 13-Feb-2025We stayed in this weekend with friends, one of whom is in an electric wheelchair and we couldn’t fault anything about the place. The floor to ceiling lift worked perfectly, everything was wheelchair friendly even popping round to see the resident goats, chickens and 2 pigs (who did not smell) we would definitely go back for another weekend break. Thank you for thinking of people who have to use wheelchairs.
Fantastic place, proper little hidden gem with lovely owners
By Charlotte Birch on 20-Feb-2025Fantastic place, proper little hidden gem with lovely owners. Our son is a wheelchair user and it's the first time he's been able to get in and out of a hot tub with ease and it was the first time he's been upstairs in a house in nearly a decade because he has a downstairs room at home so the lift here was a real treat for him! Not to mention the beds are super comfy, plenty of space for us as a family of 5. And the animals were just ace, my kids absolutely loved them. Everything was at a really good standard as well, was a lovely treat for a long weekend away and we will most definitely be back
I am blown away at how amazing this property is
By Michelle Graham on 05-Mar-2025I am blown away at how amazing this property is. We stayed for a long weekend and had a brilliant time. The host was very helpful and welcoming and the surrounding area is stunning. My daughter is a wheelchair user and we were blown away at the attention to detail when it came to accessibility (this is very rare), hoists, profile bed, lowered work tops, through floor lifts, and an accessable hot tub to name only a few things that meant our stay was easy and hassle free. Thank you so much for this. Can't wait to visit again.
We had a lovely stay at Windmill Barns
By Christie Bass on 17-Apr-2025We had a lovely stay at windmill barns. It was so nice to stay somewhere truly accessible for our son, and in such a great location too! The cottage was clean and had everything we needed. The hot tub was a great addition! It’s a great base to get to some lovely areas such as Warwick castle and the Cotswolds. We will definitely be back, and have recommended windmill barns to friends who would also benefit from the accessibility.
