Description
Seaford Holiday Cottage is situated in the picturesque village of Weybourne on the North Norfolk Coast, close to Cromer, Sheringham, Blakeney and Holt. Seaford sleeps 6 in 3 bedrooms, has a games room, garden with seating area, a large driveway and EV charging Point. Seaford is equipped to a very high standard and is rated 5 Star Gold with Visit England. The moment you step in the door you will feel relaxed and at home. Seaford Holiday Cottage has a welcoming feel with everything laid out for an easy and comfortable holiday. There is space for everyone, spread out and enjoy!
Seaford is well equipped so you will only need to bring the minimum with you. We have a Touch Stay Guidebook which can be found on our website. It has all the details of the house and what’s there, places to visit in the area including Norfolk’s fabulous beaches (all either on the doorstep or within a short distance of the house), where to eat, where to shop, things to do and wonderful walks in the North Norfolk National Landscape. There is so much to do in the area for guests of all ages.
Seaford Holiday Cottage is in the village of Weybourne, 3 miles from Sheringham and 3 miles from Holt. It is a short walk to the pub and the village shop and there are some great walks around the village, on Kelling Heath (where the steam train passes through) and along the coast path with stunning views of the sea. Weybourne's pebbly beach is only a 10 minute walk, known as Weybourne Hope and there is a great walk from here along the cliff top, past the coastguard cottages and down the lane by the windmill, all in view of the steam train that regularly runs from Sheringham to Holt. Just outside the village is Weybourne station which you can walk to from the house and hop on the train for a nostalgic round trip.
The house has a fabulous kitchen where you can gather, cook and eat together and plan your holiday trips out and activities or set up a board game after dinner. The kitchen is well equipped with a range cooker, microwave, American style fridge freezer and wine cooler.
The games room with a football table adjoins the lounge which has doors onto the enclosed garden. There is a shaded dining area for morning coffee or alfresco dining. It’s a real suntrap and a great space for relaxing.
Upstairs there are two king-size bedrooms, one with ensuite shower room. The third bedroom is a twin and there is a family bathroom with shower over and whirlpool bath.
There are many pubs and restaurants in the area serving fantastic local food including the famous Cromer Crab. In the area there are four Michelin Starred & Bib Gourmand restaurants including Morston Hall and Meadowsweet in Holt, The Gunton Arms and Sculthorpe Mill. Crabs and fish are caught off Weybourne beach where you can watch the boats come in and out. It's not just fresh fish that is available locally but an abundance of fruit and vegetables all grown on the fantastic Norfolk soils.
Seaford is close to Holkham Hall and the famous expanse of Holkham beach, also the National Trust Properties of Sheringham Park, Felbrigg Hall and Blickling. Cromer is a short drive with its wonderful pier and famous Cromer Crab. Cley Marshes visitor centre is a short distance away as is Blakeney. Further afield the children would enjoy BeWILDerwood near Horning and a day on the Norfolk Broads is great for all the family.
Our guests write in our guest book what they think about the house and what they have enjoyed doing in the area during their stay. You can find this on our website linked below

Leave ReviewPerfect Holiday House even in Cold February
By J W on 17-Feb-2025Seaford Cottage was just perfect for our stay in February, where the outside temperature dipped to below freezing. It was so lovely to return after a day out to a warm and comfortable house where the owners obviously work hard to make your stay as good as possible - it’s definitely a home from home with little extras that many holiday properties don’t supply. The welcome basket on arrival was definitely one of the best we have enjoyed in a holiday property. The house was spotlessly clean, the beds and furniture comfy and the kitchen was very well equipped. We loved baking our own bread in the bread maker, which was supplied with packets of bread making mix. We made use of the games room (backgammon, Wii, table football etc). The off-street parking was great too. We do plan to return again, most likely in warmer weather so as to be able to enjoy the garden and patio.
Great Cottage in Ideal Location
By DR on 23-Jul-2025This was our 11th visit to Seaford. It's always a pleasure - well equipped, beautifully looked after, and in a great spot for sightseeing and walking to the beach.
Another Amazing Stay
By CA on 18-Aug-2025We have stayed at Seaford Holiday Cottage six times now. Why? Because we love it! The cottage is always immaculately presented and has everything you need for a relaxing holiday. Ideally situated so you really don't need to travel far to visit places with the beach and the North Norfolk Railway both within walking distance. The towns of Holt and Sheringham are only a short drive away should you need to top up on supplies.
Lovely Stay at Seaford Cottage
By SW on 22-Sep-2025We has a lovely stay at Seaford cottage. The location is excellent. The local pub is welcoming and does decent food. The Maltings was amazing for Sunday roast. Pricey but worh it. The house itself was clean and comfortable. We loved the big kitchen. I work recommended for families and couples. There is space for everyone. We would stay again for sure.
