Description
Home Farm Holiday Cottages is a well established business with multiple cottages all in the pretty coastal village of Weybourne. On the Home Farm site we have a lovely indoor heated pool, games room, play area, mini gym, laundry, gardens and The Beauty Room for some holiday pampering.
Each cottage is tastefully decorated, EETB 4 Stars, and fully equipped for you to enjoy a fantastic holiday.
We have two bedroom cottages sleeping just couples up to four people, and larger three bedroom houses/barns sleeping 5, 6 and 7 guests. Some properties have en suites, some are all ground floor ideal for toddlers and guests who are less mobile. Of the twenty cottages we have five take a dog. There really is a property for everyone! If you visit our web site you can see each one including full photos and floorplan.
Within walking distance of each cottage is Weybourne's beach, a wonderful village shop serving frothy coffees and gorgeous cakes, Bunties Tea Room ideal for a cooked breakfast or takeaway seafood platter, and our local excellent pub, The Ship. The village also has two churches, the North Norfolk Steam Railway and the Muckleburgh Military Museum. We are only 3 miles from Sheringham with sandy beaches, and 3 miles of pretty Holt.
Locally there are some lovely walks (or runs!) from our doorstep - the beautiful 3 mile coastal path from Weybourne to Sheringham is a must regardless of your age plus lovely heathland walks through Sheringham Park.
For children there are of course great beaches all along our coast. Plus close by the Steam Railway, Dinosaur Park, the amazing Pensthorpe with Rootz play area, Bewilderwood, Wroxham Barns, Blakeney Seal Trips. Simple beach days and crabbing all a must!
Stately Homes such as Felbrigg, Blickling, Holkham and Sandringham. Fabulous churches, bird reserves, and great shopping at Holt.

Leave ReviewJust wanted to say thank you so much for a lovely holiday
By Hazel on 11-Apr-202511-18 April 2025 Hi Sally, Just wanted to say thank you so much for a lovely holiday - we had a great week. It was fab to meet you and get to share your lovely bit of Norfolk. We will definitely be coming back We have stayed in similar groups of farm cottages before (some not that far away from Weybourne), but this was by far the best we've stayed in. It's great being able to walk to the beach in a few minutes and the way you run the pool is perfect - it's a lovely space and the private slots are just the right length to have a decent splash about and get changed without having to rush. The little touches like putting Easter eggs on the beds and the vases of flowers really do add to the experience as well. We hope you have a successful summer and that your business goes from strength to strength - we'll be back to see you all soon. Best wishes, Hazel
Just back from our 4th stay at Home Farm
By Georgie C on 08-Jan-2024Just back from our 4th stay at Home Farm Holiday Cottages in less than 5 years! Another wonderful property and great facilities as always. Finally made use of Gaelle’s Beauty Room, and spent lots of time in the pool. The children love it, as do we parents. Will definitely be booking again!
Second time round
By Rachel on 18-Jul-2016This is our second time staying at the Plover cottage at Home Farm. As usual our holiday was great! The accommodation is lovely, well equipped and the facilities are a big plus for families needing to keep children happy ( games room and swimming pool are always a big hit even on rainy days). The location is very peaceful, a short walk the beach but central enough if you are looking to visit other places, parks etc...We drove to dinosaur adventure park, Pensthorpe Natural Park (this is a must!!) and Bewilderwood which are all less than 45 mins away. Sally and Paul are very friendly and make you feel at home. There is also the possibility to get massages done at home farm by the lovely Gaele but book early as demand is high . All in a fab place to stay!
Christmas Review
By Nettywest on 09-Jan-2017We stayed in Barnetts Cottage, 5 adults with lots of room to relax. The cottage follows well with excellent facilities. I cooked Christmas dinner with ease. Endless supply of wood for the wood burner which added that extra Christmassy glow. The Ship serves lovely locally sourced food and the shop/cafe has a huge range of bits and bobs you may have forgotten or just can't resist. Will be staying again soon!
Fleet Cottage
By Chloe Mann on 28-Dec-2016From the moment we drove into Home Farm, Sally was there to greet us and immediately brought all of the extras we had asked for into the cottage (cot, baby bath , changing mat, and high-chair). These were provided at no extra charge. She was on hand but not intrusive during our stay. We had specifically chosen Home Farm's Fleet Cottage because it is all on the ground floor and has a washing machine; practical essentials for our 9 month old toddler! Everything was as we expected and needed. The cottage was clean and well-appointed with details such as a clothes-airer and clothes pegs to dry wet laundry. Cozy beds with extra blankets even though the rooms were a good sleeping temperature; their is ample wardrobe and drawer storage space. The two-bedroom cottage has onlyone bathroom with toilet inside but it is big; most of the bathroom shelf space is within the airing cupboard so that is where we stored our wash-bags and the baby's spare nappies, etc. The kitchen has a large fridge and a real freezer - unusual in other holiday rentals we have stayed in! The oven door seems not to close tight but it cooks OK. The washing machine is new and there is a communal tumble dryer nearby that takes a 20p coin for every 10 mins (There are communal washing machines there too for the cottages that don't have one). The dishwasher works well. A wood-burning fire with a huge communal store of extra wood nearby, a residents-only swimming pool, and ample parking made the stay fun and even more comfortable. We regretted not booking a massage or treatment in the Beauty Room and would have if we had stayed longer than a week! We used Fleet Cottage as our base from where to explore the wintery North Norfolk coast; whether wandering along the Weybourne beach or travelling to Cromer and Wells-Next-the-Sea on day trips, we enjoyed coming back to the home comforts and warming Christmas decorations!
Perfect holiday with young children
By Ellie on 01-Nov-2016We stayed here (2 adults a 4 year old and a 11 month old) for the October half term in China cottage. It had everything you need for a holiday with young children. There was a high chair, stair gate and cot. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you could need/want to cook meals. There was also washing up liquid, washing sponges, dishwasher tablets and kitchen roll which you often have to bring yourself. I also loved the big main bathroom. It makes it much easier to get 2 small children bathed and ready for bed when you have that bit of extra room. The shower was lovely as well. There is a big garden where we played football one afternoon. It was a big hit with our oldest. We booked here as there is an indoor pool and play area for the children. Just in case the weather was bad due to the time of year we would have something inside to do. We shouldn't have worried and we only used the pool twice. The pool itself is great fun and well organised. There is also a laundry room which we didn't need but great to have as an option when you have small messy children. We will defiantly be staying here again. We all loved it.
