Bow Cottage is ideally placed in a level position in the heart of Weymouth being only 150 yards from the picturesque old harbour, 200 yards from the award winning beach and moments from restaurants, cafes and all the amenities in the town centre.This 19th century cottage is tastefully decorated to give a holiday home of character being well equipped throughout to make your stay as comfortable as possible.
This 3 bedroom cottage benefits from super fast WIFI, smart TV, central heating and walled rear courtyard.
ALLOCATED CAR PARKING SPACE nearby.
The space:
Bow Cottage accommodates up to 6 people in 3 bedrooms.
On the ground floor there is:
Lounge / Dining Room with exposed beams, feature fireplaces, open tread staircase and french doors opening to rear courtyard.
Fully fitted kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine, electric hob and oven, fridge freezer, microwave.
Rear lobby with door to rear courtyard.
Bathroom with WC, washbasin, bath and separate shower cubicle.
Walled rear courtyard with patio table, chairs and bench
On the first floor there is a twin bedroom, a double bedroom and a separate cloakroom with WC and washbasin (PLEASE NOTE: whilst the cottage is listed as 2 bedrooms, this first floor bathroom consists only of a WC and washbasin)
On the second floor there is a further bedroom with a double bed.
Please note: Bow Cottage is 19th century cottage and the staircase from the ground floor to first floor is open tread and the staircase from the first floor to the second floor is narrow and winding. Therefore both staircases maybe considered unsuitable for guests with mobility difficulties. Please see the photographs provide of these staircases .

Check-in is from 3pm on the day of arrival and check-out is by 10am on the day of departure.
All bed linen, towels and tea towels are provided.
Unfortunately, we do not allow pets in the cottage.
Bow Cottage is located on a short pedestrianised street of seven house. Should you be arriving by car, for unloading purposes, we would advise parking at the end of this street (which is approximately 20 meters from the front door) or the adjoining short stay car park.
ALLOCATED PARKING SPACE - This is a secure allocated space situated at Nothe Parade, approximately 7 minute level walk or 5 minute drive. This is for one car only. No vans or campervans are permitted.

By Claire on 14-Aug-2025We had a wonderful visit to what we all voted to be the best seaside town in the UK. The house was clean, bright, airy and welcoming. It also had real, quaint historic cottage character. Such a perfect location so close to the harbour, but also moments from the beach. The little yard was an amazing addition for airing beach clothes and knocking the sand off as well as stealing moments of peace from the children! Lovely added touches like teas and coffees and biscuits provided put a little smile on our faces too. A delight from start to end.

It had everything we needed and matched the listing exactly. Communication from the host was excellent throughout — clear instructions and quick responses whenever needed. The cottage itself was spotless, cozy, and beautifully decorated, with thoughtful touches that made it feel like home. The kitchen was well-equipped, the bed was incredibly comfortable. The hosts were fantastic —friendly, responsive. Check-in and check-out were smooth and easy. We definitely be back again .

The cottage is in a fabulous location, so close to the harbour, beach, pubs, restaurants and shops. The free parking space is an added bonus. Already thinking about when to book next year!
