Family House in Weymouth, DorsetWith Hope Square and Weymouth harbour both just steps from the front door, this Georgian house is well located in a lively area. Hope Square offers restaurants, coffee shops and a pub with live music on Sundays during the Summer.
Weymouth town centre is a five minute walk away with the main beach just a few minutes further.
2 sitting rooms, each with a tv, 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, ,dining room and a kitchen and small patio.
A family friendly, comfortable home away from home on the Dorset Coast.
One minute walk away from the harbour side, a five minute walk to Newtons Cove and a 10 minute walk to the main beach.
The Jurassic Coast for fossil hunting is a short drive away.
The house is arranged over 4 floors.
There is a sitting room, dining room and well equipped kitchen on the ground floor. There is a small courtyard with pot plants, a bistro table and 4 chairs.
There are 2 bedrooms on the first floor; a bedroom with a kings sized bed and a single bedroom, along with a shared bathroom.
The bathroom has a WC, basin and a bath with a shower over the bath.
There is a twin bedroom with 2 single beds and a second sitting room on the second floor.
On the top floor there is a small single bedroom and separate bathroom, both with sloping ceilings. The bathroom has a WC, basin and a bath.
All beds are adult sized.
There are two sitting rooms. The sitting room on the ground floor has a sofa and two chairs, a tv and dvd player.
The sitting room on the second floor has a 2 seater sofa, a 3 seater sofa and an armchair, a TV and dvd player.
The dining room has a dining table with 6 dining chairs. There is also a small work space with a table and chair, in between the ground floor sitting room and the dining room.
The kitchen is well equipped with a large fridge freezer, oven, hob and microwave, a combined washing machine/tumble dryer and a dishwasher.
The outside patio space is equipped with a small bistro table and 4 chairs.
There are 4 bedrooms; one has a king sized bed, there is a twin room with 2 single beds and 2 single rooms.
The first floor bathroom has a WC, basin and a bath with a shower and shower screen over the bath.
The top floor bathroom has a WC, basin and a bath but no shower.
Families with small children are welcome.
The house is equipped with 2 travel cots, a high chair and a small, portable baby bath. Please inform us when booking if you require any of these so we can set them up for you prior to your arrival.
Check in any time after 4 pm and checkout before 10 am.
We have a key safe installed to the right of the front door.
The key safe code and how to use the key safe will be sent to you a week before you arrive, along with information about nearby long term car parks.
Unfortunately, there is no parking available at the property, but Nothe Fort long term car park is only a few minutes drive away.
50% payment is required at the time of booking. The remaining 50%, along with a £200 returnable security deposit will be due 2 months before your arrival day.

Lovely house

Everything on hand, walkable, on a flat terrain! Minor problem with a bathroom pull switch which was dealt with efficiently with minimum fuss; good communication.

A wonderful holiday
By Gail on 24-Aug-2024We all had a wonderful holiday and the accommodation suited us perfectly. Very well equipped and two sitting rooms was a real bonus It was homely and comfortable and so central 8 paces to the pub if you wanted to go. The small courtyard had lots of sunshine and we managed to park on nearby roads for free. Brilliant crabbing on the harbour and a quiet pebbly beach 3 minutes away with rock pools. Main beach was very busy but so huge that it was not a problem and great sandcastle territory. Altogether a great venue and great hosts. Many thanks Trudie
