We love everything about 4 Clarks Yard ; the location is excellent, the cottage cosy, clean, well equipped and quirky and the beds very comfy. We missed last New Year’s Eve due to Covid and we were so happy to be back. Wonderful accommodation in a great holiday resort.
This was our first stay at 4 Clarks Yard, but we certainly hope it won’t be our last. The property is centrally located in the heart of old Whitby, with easier access to drop off luggage than you might expect. The cottage itself has a welcoming traditional feel, is stylish, well-equipped, comfortable and WARM (an important consideration at the beginning of this December). We enjoyed exceptionally clear and timely communications from the owners, David and Alison, and only wished we could have stayed longer.
Stayed here for 2 weeks. Lovely cottage with mixture of rustic charm and modern amenities. Well equipped with everything you would need. Outside area to sit out is a big bonus with the lovely sunny weather of June. Location is perfect. Quiet old street but down short, sheltered alleyway straight on to the hustle and bustle of everything you could want in Whitby - pubs, restaurants, shops and cafes on the doorstep and then short walk to all the charm of this old seaside town. Beautiful evening sunsets over the harbour. David and Alison couldn''t be more helpful. Would recommend this property to anyone and look forward to staying again.
