Wonderful Place in Middle of Whitby
By Katie on 11-Jul-2025Wonderful place to stay right in the middle of Whitby, we loved staying here. The whole place is beautifully renovated to a high standard and equipped with everything you would want. We particularly loved the quality bathroom, Courtyard and Summer House. It's right in the centre of all the Whitby attractions but tucked away in a quiet spot. Colin gave us great recommendations for parking and places to eat, we booked several restaurants and were so glad we did. We would love to return for another visit.
Everything Spotless and Clean
By Katja Germany on 02-Aug-2025We had a great time at Colin's Cottage. Everything was spotless and clean, very nice furniture, great kitchen, and the quiet Court Yard is definitely a big plus in very lively Whitby.
Lovely Cottage
By Jim on 17-Oct-2025A lovely Cottage in a great location - not too busy but very close to central areas we've stayed in lots of different Houses in Whitby and would definitely book this one again.

Gorgeous Cottage
By Chris on 10-Apr-2026We had a fantastic stay at Gulls Cry Cottage. The location is superb, right near the town centre but still quiet at night. The Cottage itself is gorgeous, really well finished but with a lot of charm. Colin was really communicative and gave us some great advice on where to go for food and drinks.
