James's Parlour is thoughtfully designed with everything your guests might need.With a large enclosed garden and patio area that wraps itself around the cottage lending itself to some wonderful outdoor fun and relaxing alfresco dining.
Sleeping 12 people and 2 cots, with 5 good sized bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.
Your guests have access to all of the shared facilities of Indoor Swimming Pool, Multi Sports Court & Under 5's Play Area - All booked for your own exclusive & private use. Along with access to our NEW Football Field (seasonal) Picnic Area, BBQ's, Bike Store, Bird Watching & Star Gazing Area's, Oak Acre Avenue, On-site Parking and WIFI.
James's Parlour is a large, spacious well designed converted Georgian barn that can accommodate 12 people comfortably. It has 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, with plenty of space for two travel cots if required.
With a stunning open plan kitchen, dining and lounge area, this barn is perfect for a large family holiday, a friends get away or to celebrate a special occasion.
The hand made dining table, comfortably sits 12 and is ideal for a celebration meal or a simple family feast.
The modern kitchen is well equipped to cater for large groups, containing plenty of tableware and kitchen utensils.
Having been lovingly converted, this barn has retained original beams, trusses and brick pillars mixing traditional with modern.
Outside, James's Parlour boasts a very large enclosed garden with a substantial patio area with furniture. With incredible views across the Shropshire countryside and a real suntrap in the Summer. Watch the sun go down over the fields whilst you enjoy an alfresco meal with something bubbly or a fun picnic with the children!

Bedroom 1: Twin room with Jack and Jill access to Bathroom 1 with Shower over Bath.
First Floor: With beams and brick pillars.
Bedroom 1: With Double Bed and en-suite shower, toilet & heated towel rail.
Bedroom 2: With Double Bed.
Bedroom 3: With Twin Beds.
Bedroom 4: Family Room with Double Bed and Twin Beds.

Lovely warm Pool

The house was roomy and perfectly kitted out with everything that you could possibly wish for in the kitchen. It was such a wonderful knife block that we have now purchased one ourselves! We used the lovely warm pool, small but perfectly formed, every day and the tennis court was great for adults and kids alike. The little ones loved the play area so we hardly moved for several days. Can’t recommend the parlour highly enough and would love to return.
Very Welcoming Hosts
By Kate Murray on 31-Oct-2021Very Welcoming Hosts who have thought of everything! Good WIFI and even had a USB Charger and an Alexa. Pool lovely and warm and lots of access time which was a worry being a shared site. Lots to do locally Chester Zoo, and Chester Walls are a great day out as recommended by the Hosts. A Real luxury break and already booked a return visit.
Game of tennis
