Leave ReviewSmall house, great peace.
By Christopher Mann on 11-Oct-2025We stayed in this beautiful spot whilst I renovated my son’s bathroom. My wife took the opportunity to visit some local places we have always enjoyed! My experience returning every evening after a long diy day was, “Parva Domus Magna Quies” - “Small House, Great Peace”.
Superb bungalow and helpful host.
By Peter Bull on 11-Sep-2025The property was clean and tidy on arrival. Greatly appreciated the excellent facilities. Everything I wanted for a few days to have some peace and quiet. Very rural. Totally superb.
Enjoyable stay
By John & Caroline on 18-Jul-2025Very much enjoyed our stay at Forest Gate Lodge Annex, whilst visiting family in the area. It was quiet and peaceful, rural, but within easy travelling distance for local amenities and attractions along the South Coast. The garden area for sitting out in was good for watching the wildlife, including deer, rabbits and various birds. The Annex was clean, tidy and had everything that was needed for our stay and we enjoyed the strawberries and cream that was there on our arrival. Charles and Daphne made us feel welcome and were there if required and nothing was too much trouble. We would definitely stay again when next visiting family and hopefully will be back later this year.
