Lovely place within easy reach of all the places we wanted to visit. Great pubs cafes, walks and restaurants on the doorstep and Mark was very helpful. He went beyond what anyone would expect from a host to ensure a great stay. Highly recommended
15 off the Green is a beautiful accommodation and Mark is the perfect host. On arrival Mark had left us a welcome pack full of goodies and wine and the accommodation was spotless, warm and welcoming and all the little touches from the decor to the towelling robes really give this place the WOW factor. The kingsize bed is one of the comfiest we have experienced in our travels and the fact that Netflix was included on the TV was a real bonus. The kitchen has everything you need to properly self cater and with Julie being Gluten intolerant this is important to us. Mark, having learned of Julie's dietary requirements, not only prepared the welcome pack accordingly but also contacted the local restaurants to find out which ones best catered for our requirements. If you are walkers then he has all the information you need for walks of all lengths and difficulty levels, he even has an app that you can download that guides you throughout you chosen routes. All in all the perfect property with the perfect host that gave us the perfect break. Absolutely perfect in every way. Mark’s place is simply stunning and Mark is an incredible host, every detail has been thought of. We felt as though we were staying with friends or family such was the attention to thoughtful touches. The welcome pack of quality provisions was perfect and most welcome after a long and tiring journey late on a Sunday evening. The bed was extremely comfortable and the bed linen and soft furnishings top quality. The entire home was spotlessly clean with high end fixtures and fittings. It really is a home from home. The luxury toiletries were a lovely touch as were the fluffy towels and bathrobes. Mark was a very helpful and attentive host while at the same time respecting our privacy at all times. Local advice on walks, where to eat, shops etc was really helpful. We enjoyed frothy coffee from the Nespresso machine while sitting in the conservatory overlooking the beautifully kept garden. It is a very short walk into Winchcombe where the local Co-op has everything you could need. We had a lovely meal in The Lion Inn and also a delicious fish and chip supper (gluten free) from the local fish and chip shop. We also cooked a lovely meal in the well appointed kitchen. Short drive to the main villages of the Cotswolds and also bigger towns like Cheltenham and Stratford upon Avon. If you prefer not to drive there are endless walks in the local area from the front door. Sudeley Castle is within walking distance and the Cotswold Way, both from the front door. If you like photography there are no end of opportunities in the local area. I would not hesitate to recommend Mark and his beautiful home.
