Keri-Leigh Heatherington's Review
By Keri-Leigh Heatherington on 22-Dec-2025Loved our stay, lovely clean lodge that is dog friendly. We spent Christmas there with friends. Excellent location. The site itself is great for walks around and you can walk down to the lake edge. We all enjoyed our week and would highly recommend to others.
Jamie Timmins's Review
By Jamie Timmins on 02-Mar-2026Excellent stay in a great location, local to many of the great spots in the Lake District. Good facilities on the camp site make this a great spot for groups or families. Lodge is cosy and comfortable, TV needs an upgrade for those evenings spent indoors due to it not being a smart TV (Netflix etc). Plenty room in the bedrooms and bathrooms as well as a great kitchen with all the utensils you’d need.

Diane Hartley's Review
By Diane Hartley on 22-Feb-2026Lovely lodge. Well presented, well equipped & comfortable with plenty of room for 4 of us. Lots of little extras provided, including a much appreciated welcome pack. Nice & warm despite very cold weather. Great site for families. We did experience low water pressure on a couple of days, which was a site issue & Gary immediately did his best to get it resolved .
