Description
Riverside and Anchor cottages have identical mirror image layouts. Both cottages are directly located on the river front and benefit from a small waterside garden with low fence and gate leading to your own 17' boardwalk offering private boat mooring and fishing. Free parking is available for a maximum of 2 cars per cottage.Each cottage offers: 2 double bedrooms, 2 twin bedrooms (one with bunk beds), two bathrooms (one en-suite to master double bedroom) downstairs cloakroom with toilet and hand basin. Gas fired central heating throughout (included in cost). Maximum occupancy 8 (6 adults & 2 children) plus cot.
Kitchen with 4 ring ceramic hob, combination oven and grill, separate microwave oven, toaster, cafetiere, larder fridge (small chest freezer in garage), dish washer. Sufficient saucepans, frying pans, crockery and cutlery, glasses etc.
Pets: One well behaved pet welcome at Riverside Cottage at a charge of £25. Anchor Cottage is pet free.
Wifi Internet Access: Both cottages benefit from FREE unlimited wireless internet access including an internet connected 50" 4K high definition smart TV which includes a web browser, full choice of catch-up for your favourite programmes plus access to selected Apps including access to Netflix and Amazon Prime (by logging in using your existing account).
Prices shown are for the maximum occupancy of 6 adults and 2 children. For smaller groups of up to 4 guests, a 20% under occupancy discount applies.

By Ket Sumner on 20-Jan-2018This cottage suited us very well. Especially the king sized bed and the wi fi connection which worked perfectly. It was lovely to look out onto the river and it is just a 2 minute walk over the bridge to town - perfect.
Perfect Cottage in Perfect Location
By Mark_charles2 on 20-Jan-2018Riverside cottage was in a perfect location on the River Bure. We booked the cottage over the May Day Bank Holiday. There were 7 of us & our small Jack Russell. We were in Norfolk for the East Region swimming championships held at the UEA Norwich. We would normally stay in a Hotel needing at least 3 rooms. Booking Riverside cottage actually worked out cheaper for us. It was a much more relaxing stay with a lovely view of the River. The cottage itself was very clean & had everything you would need. With it's 4 bedrooms we all slept comfortably without the worry of noisy people running along corridors (what we have become used to with hotel stays). We loved only being a 5 minute walk from Roys supermarket & only 20mins in the car from Norwich. We would definitely recommend Riverside cottage.
Weeks holiday with friends
By Valerie C on 20-Jan-2018We spent a lovely week at Riverside Cottage and found it very comfortable and warm. We Especially liked having our own mooring and was able to hire a boat for 2 days and moor by the patio. It is very picturesque overlooking the river and full of activity.
Week by the Broads instead of on them!
By pfs30 on 20-Jan-2018A lovely home from home, we spent a mid week break ((Mon-Fri) here. We all appreciated the location of this cottage, watching the boats and birds every morning through the lounge windows ( it was a bit too chilly to be outside!). The property was nicely furnished, clean and convenient. I appreciated being able to park the car some days and walking into the village shops, takeaways etc ( just 2 mins over the bridge). The children enjoyed playing hide and seek on all 3 levels and the games provided. Ideally located to explore the broads- try a boat trip from How Hill and Bewilderwood is close by.
Riverside Cottage Wroxham
By Maureen Knight on 20-Jan-2018Just returned from a wonderful week at Riverside Cottage in Wroxham, the cottage was all we hoped it would be ,beautiful position in Wroxham , plus the weather was do kind to us , there were 8 of us staying plus a very well behaved dog and didnot feel at all cramped ,plenty of room . We hope to return next year , so many places to visit in the area could not fit them all in.
Perfect for the area
By Bic888 on 20-Jan-2018Needed accommodation for dogs and us with shortish notice but wanted something that gave comfort and no hassle. Ideal accommodation, tidy and shows efforts made to keep in good condition. For the time of year was warm and simple instructions on everything needed. We did not use the full capacity of the property but it has lots of room and great location. We would use again and the fact we have left feedback says a lot as we do not usually bother. Owners helpful, easy contact and polite. We arrived in the middle of the night but no issues in getting access which you cannot say about a lot of rentals.
