Description
Sunset is located in a quiet self catering holiday park on the outskirts of Sandown. It is a purpose built chalet and with an elevated yet sheltered, sunny position.With far reaching views to be enjoyed from inside and a decking area which has its own seating and dining area. This is now enclosed and gated, so ideal for keeping pets and small children in! As the name suggests the sunsets can be spectacular. There is also an enclosed grass area in front of the chalet where children can play safely. The chalet has WIFI included in the cost, with good signal strength. Electricity is also included.
The kitchen is fully self contained including electric oven and hob, microwave, toaster and all the utensils you need. The lounge has a flat screen smart TV, comfortable seating with dining table and chairs. There is a small wall mounted TV/DVD player in the main bedroom. The 2nd bedroom having bunk beds.

We welcome up to two well behaved pets at no extra cost and can provide ferry discounts for both operators upon request. Please message us for further details or any extra information you may need.
Sunset is set in a lovely location and only a few minutes walk to the sandy beach and other amenities and attractions including town and pier. There are wonderful walks on your doorstep with stunning views of both land and sea. Dinosaur Isle is approx. 1.2km away with a children’s adventure park set next to it at Sandham Gardens including skynets and go-karts. Brown’s golf and the IOW Zoo are also a short walk along the seafront. Other Isle of Wight attractions including Osborne House, Blackgang Chine and the Needles can easily be reached by car or the local bus service which has a stop just outside the site entrance. Various eateries can be found in the area and also in Sandown High Street which would be approximately a 25 minute walk from the chalet.

By Joanna on 09-Aug-2025Beautiful escape + Lovely little chalet, decorated beautiful, perfectly clean, and in a quiet but central location. Hosts were amazing, and there was great commination from them. Discount for the ferry was an added bonus. The wellcomm package was great, and lots of outside toys keeping the children entertained was a bonus. Lots of information inside regarding the accommodation, places to visit, and nearby restaurants. The fan helped out no end as it was very hot. We had a lovely stay and will definitely revisit you again soon. Thank you - I don't want to give a negative as we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, but if we had to nitpick, I would say the double bedroom could do with a black out blind or curtain as communal lighting on all night and beautiful early sunrise left us short of sleep.
