Fantastic well equipped cozy cottage

By Andy on 11-Apr-2022

Fantastic well equipped cozy cottage in a great location for walking and visiting local historic landmarks. We would recommend Peak Feast and the local bakery for tasty and locally produced treats. There is a well stocked shop and PO in the village of Youlgreave also. The Bulls Head is open in the evenings and offers great hospitality. The George is a more traditional pub which we found welcoming. The larger towns of Bakewell and Matlock offer a wide range of shops, pubs and restaurants. Visit Hartington and The Druids pub at Birchover for a warm welcome and great food and drink. Great walks from Youlgreave including Robin Hood Stride, Arbor Low, Over Haddon and further afield to Birchover to see Rowtor Rocks, the Nine Ladies and Cork Stone.
