Description
Island escape holiday home is newly available in 2025 for holidays on the Isle of Wight.The home features a main double bedroom with new orthopaedic double mattress and wardrobe. Second bedroom has 2 single beds. The holiday home accommodates 4 people and 1 well behaved dog by request.
There is a 50 inch smart TV with Netflix, Youtube, Now TV and Prime (you must sign in with your own account), DVD player, free fast fibre wifi, fully equipped kitchen with an oven, hob, microwave, sandwich toaster, air fryer , toaster and all crockery and necessities needed for a pleasant stay.
A welcome pack will be left for our guests for each stay.
Large spacious sofas and a compact but perfectly formed bathroom with walk in shower. There is a private small gated decked area with a small table with two chairs. The property is non-smoking and is set 1.2 km from Sandown Beach and other local attractions. The red squirrel trail is directly accessed from the holiday park
There are an abundance of attractions on the Isle of Wight for all the family including The needles, Osborne House, Monkey Haven, Isle of Wight Steam Railway and more !
Island Escape Holiday Home is located in Sandown in the Fairway Holiday Park.
The Holiday Park features a heated pool (open in the summer months), onsite pub/restaurant, launderette and drying facilities and free parking in main car parks . A convenience store and bus stop are just outside the main entrance and within a few minutes walk from the holiday home.
The property has garden views .

It was immaculate except the cobweb we found on the main bedroom light, which was not an issue, and we could remove it ourselves. But maybe something to be aware of. Wendy was really helpful and quick to respond if any issues were raised. There was a problem with the bathroom lock, which was fixed promptly while we were out. Parking is not allocated as advertised but plenty around to find a spot. We were out all the time during the day, and it was more like a resting place for us. The beds were really comfy. My kids really loved the stay and would come back again ! - There is nothing major that we didn't like.
Amazing stay
By Sarah on 21-Aug-2025What can i say 100%. If you are looking to book please do you won't be disappointed. From the moment I contacted Julia the owner of Island Escape. No matter how many questions, nothing was to much trouble, Such a lovely lady. Island Escape caravan stood out from the rest as you enter the caravan site, a lovely light blue colour, a small veranda with a gate you can close, with 2 chairs and a table outside. Inside the caravan was spotless so clean, everything you could need, was so homely with a seaside theme, Sofa was spotless, beds and bed linnen was spotless, We arrived late and we could not miss the caravan as it had a light on that it was a low glow light, the caravan smelt fresh with a lovely smell, parking near by, club house 2 mins walk, outdoor pool 2 mins walk, site was clean. Thank you for an amazing stay in your caravan, we will be booking again with you for the future.

By Angela Andrews on 13-Aug-2025Had a amazing stay at this caravan, very inviting, love all the seaside touches around the caravan, very clean as well. The owner made me feel very welcome too, made sure we had tea and coffee and milk, loved the the little coffee bar on the side with mixture of different drinks, like coffee, hot chocolate and herbal teas. The owner put a lot effort into the finishing touches as well, like flowers on the table, and lovely cookies . Plus is Wendy who looks after caravan, is also very friendly and helpful, and if you need anything. She's always happy to help.

Perfect for a relaxing
By Tom on 19-Jul-2025We stayed for a long weekend and it was perfect for a relaxing, self-sufficient getaway. The campsite was easy to find, but Paul & Julia left clear instructions beforehand to make it easier (as we arrived a bit later than usual check-in) - Wendy at the campsite was also very helpful on arrival. The holiday home was clean with plenty of amenities for cooking and cleaning, as well as some kind extra touches - they even added a fan due to the heatwave. It was a good size and the living area was surprisingly spacious! The campsite had a small pool, play area, and friendly pub, but it still felt private as each home kept to themselves. The location is excellent in a residential area of Sandown, opposite a small shop but less than 10mins drive from a big Aldi or takeaway orders. It's 15-20mins walk from Sandown beach, which is one of the best on the island, with several restaurants and shops around there. Definitely recommend and wouldn't hesitate to return!
Lovely holiday
By Martine on 04-Jul-2025Dog friendly. Very conveniently situated for Yaverland dog beach. The accommodation was very clean and comfortable, and the owner left lots of treats and lovely toiletries for us.
