Description
The Stone House is a beautifully renovated villa with a private pool and garden. Along the length of the villa are stone arches and floor to ceiling sliding doors opening up to the large pool terrace. The large living area comprises of a sitting area, dining area and open plan kitchen. It has high ceilings with wooden beams. the bedrooms are spacious and again have high ceilings. Both bedrooms have air conditioning units and plenty of storage space. There is a shared bathroom between the bedrooms with modern shower, wc and basin. The kitchen is fully equipped. There is a television with dvd player along with free wifi.The pool terrace has spectacular views down the mountain to the sea. There is a covered seating area along with a shower by the pool and an additional bathroom / wc. Wooden sunbeds with cushions can easily be moved around the terrace to allow for sun or shade.
The Stone House is situated at the entrance to Ilgaz village across the road from the Turkish cafe. It is extremely private and peaceful and has a designated parking area.
Linen / Towels
Bedlinen is 100% cotton and bath and pool towels are provided. For longer stays beds will be changed and clean bath towels provided weekly or more often by arrangement.
A generous welcome pack will be provided including tea, coffee, milk, bread, butter, eggs, cheese (homemade hellim / halloumi when available), tomatoes, olives, fruit, honey, fruit juice, drinking water, a bottle of wine and a couple of cold local beers.

Stone House Holiday

This beautiful stone-built villa was simply perfect! The villa was spotlessly clean, spacious, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay, including a fully equipped kitchen, cozy living spaces, and comfortable bedrooms. We had a lovely private garden with a pool, shaded terrace and beautiful views. We will definitely be back thank you to Carola and Oz our fabulous hosts!

Idyllic getaway
By Karen Jamieson on 10-Jul-2025We’ve just had an amazing couple of weeks at Stone House. The villa is absolutely stunning, with a lovely swimming pool and outdoor area. It is set in a beautiful location, with spectacular views. . Ours hosts, Carola & Oz were both lovely. They left us a very generous welcome pack and could not have been more helpful throughout our stay. Carola also helped us with airport transfers and car hire, which were both great! There are some lovely restaurants within walking distance/short drive. We hope to return to Stone House very soon. I highly recommend booking this villa, you will not be disappointed.
Simply The Best...

The Stone House offers complete privacy for relaxing and sunbathing with great views from the mountain to the sea. The infinity pool was in tip top condition and the sun kept it warm. We found it very peaceful, the only sounds being the occasional passing vehicle and sometimes chatter from the popular open air cafe opposite at weekends - this did not disturb us at all as the clever design of the accommodation. meant it was in the background. Everything was in good working order and Carola and Oz were great hosts. There are several eateries in walking distance and many more within a few miles by car. The welcome pack was very good and the bed very comfortable. All in all we were very happy to be staying in Ilgaz and will certainly be back next year.
Thoroughly relaxing holiday in beautiful villa
By Richard & Yvonne on 26-Sep-2024Lovely relaxing stay at the Stone House in Ilgaz. Beautiful villa with everything you could possibly need and very generous welcome pack on arrival. Lovely pool, great views down to the sea and totally private outdoor terrace area.. Carola & Oz we’re perfect hosts, so friendly and on hand if we needed anything. Would recommend Hoots and Trattoria Vineyard for evening meals. The bakery/cafe opposite Stone House does a great Turkish breakfast, as does Soora Garden restaurant, a short drive down from Ilgaz. We had such a great time we booked again for next year,
