Property Features
The Nordic Nest, a penthouse apartment, is situated on the top floor of a private annex just above our garden duplex apartment, La Ruche. Tucked away behind the hustle and bustle of the main street and facing away from the main road, The Nordic Nest offers a peaceful enclave close enough to the action, but far enough away to feel secluded, private and calm.
The whole apartments’ decor has been inspired by the owners time living in Denmark. The triple aspect open plan space is combined with warm wood tones, which gives a wonderfully sunny and bright feel. Combined with Scandinavian style furniture, this creates a warm and inviting “hygge" feel. Patio doors in the main living area open out onto a large balcony with outdoor hot tub and mountain views up to Avoriaz. There is a beautiful open plan kitchen with all mod cons which blends into a cosy dining area and lounge with stylish comfy sofas.
The layout makes it super easy to keep an eye on the kids in the jacuzzi or serve drinks from the kitchen bar to those in the hot tub. There is an XL flat screen Smart TV with Netflix and UK & French Satellite TV, In House Music System, DVD Player and Games Console. Great for the kids both big and small!
All the bedrooms can be configured as doubles or twins. There is a master bedroom with en suite shower room, WC and juliette balcony. This bedroom has its own private TV. The second bedroom also benefits from an en suite with walk in shower and WC and balcony. The third bedroom also has a balcony and makes use of the family bathroom with a bath, overhead shower & WC which is shared with the bunk room.
The good-sized bunk room, with window and plenty of storage, features a bespoke artisan made cabin style double bed with offset single bed above. This can sleep 3 kids, 2 single adults or a couple in a very comfy double.
The apartment has a Washing Machine and Tumble Drier. There is also a heated boot room, large garage with secure Bike Storage and parking for 2 cars with an electric point for a plug-in hybrid or similar. NB. Head height of the garage is restricted to 1.95 m.
Our in-resort concierge will be there to meet and greet you when you arrive and will show you around the chalet. We include a basic start up welcome pack in the apartment along with Nespresso coffee and Yorkshire Tea bags.
