Description
Chalet Clementine's offers Stunning views of the Belledonne Mountains in one of the best skiing, and hiking areas of the Alps. Free fibre WiFiThe chalet is part of an exclusive development of 33 detached chalets tucked away in a quiet corner of Oz en Oisans, part of Alpe d'Huez ski resort, at 1350 metres. There is an entrance hall on the first floor with ski and boot rack and plenty of hooks to hang your coats. This leads to a large open plan room with fireplace. Two patio doors lead onto a balcony which we have extended to run around two sides of the chalet and offers a great space to sit, with wonderful uninterrupted mountain views. At the other end of the room is a large dining table seating 10. Round the corner there is a kitchen from which double patio doors provide another access to the extended balcony which has outdoor seating and a table which seats six comfortably and offers more wonderful views. On the ground floor are three bedrooms and from the lounge, steps lead to a fourth mezzanine bedroom, with restricted height at one end. The resort of Oz en Oisans, which is part of L'Alpe Duez Grande Domain is particularly suited to families, with most of the village pedestrianized and peaceful. The chalet is perfect for both winter and summer holidays. Oz en Oisans is a quiet resort, but with a fast ski lift connection to Alpe d'Huez and Vaujany offers great access and a huge ski area to explore. in the summer during July and august the resort of Oz en Oisans comes alive again providing a fantastic summer family experience.
The chalet is heated by underfloor heating which is supplemented by electric wall heaters and an open fire. There is also a travel cot and high chair, although cot bedding is not provided. The bedroom on the mezzanine floor is accessed by a set of steep stairs and may not be suitable for everybody. Outside: There are two balconies, one of which is provided with an outdoor table and chairs and a barbeque. Utility Room: The property has a washing machine, vacuum cleaner, iron and ironing board, two drying racks and a hairdryer. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: PRICE INCLUDES HEATING, BED LINEN , FINAL CLEANING and TOURIST TAX, so no hidden extras to pay.

By Wout on 27-Jul-2024We hebben een heerlijke week gehad. De ontvangst was zeer hartelijk. Het huis is echt van alle gemakken voorzien. Het uitzicht is schitterend en er is van alles te doen in de omgeving. (We had a wonderful week. The reception was very warm. The house is really equipped with all comforts. The view is magnificent and there is plenty to do in the area).

By Antoine on 19-Mar-2024Très bon chalet, bien équipé, avec une belle vue sur la vallée ! Le lieu est calme et reposant, c'était parfait pour 7 personnes. Effectivement il y a un escalier à monter le matin mais ça permet de s'échauffer avant de skier 2 petites suggestions pour l'année prochaine: - il faudrait 1 ou 2 grands plats supplémentaires pour le four lorsque l'on fait de grandes croziflettes ou tartiflettes, nous avons dû diviser en plusieurs petits plats. - ajouter un rideau à la fenêtre de la chambre du haut. (Nous avons ajouté les deux éléments mentionnés). Gary est disponible et nous avons été parfaitement accueilli par lui et sa femme à notre arrivée, nous reviendrons avec plaisir séjourner à Oz. Very good chalet, well equipped, with a beautiful view of the valley! The place is quiet and relaxing, it was perfect for 7 people. Indeed there is a staircase to climb in the morning but it allows to warm up before skiing 2 small suggestions for next year:-- it would take 1 or 2 large extra dishes for the oven when making large crozifles or tartiflettes, we had to split into several small dishes. add a curtain to the window of the top bedroom. (We have added both items mentioned).Gary is available and we were perfectly greeted by him and his wife when we arrived, we will gladly stay in Oz again.

By Emiel on 09-Jun-2024Het uitzicht en de ruimte. Mooie kamers 2 badkamers en boven en onder apart toilet een pré zeker met 8 pers. Wifi was uitstekend. The view and the space. Beautiful rooms, 2 bathrooms and separate toilets upstairs and downstairs, a plus, especially with 8 people. Wifi was excellent. Een klein min puntje was dat je met de auto niet aan het huisje kon komen i.v.m uitladen A small downside was that you could not reach the house by car because of unloading.
