Description
The villa is situated on the hillside with panoramic views of the surrounding countryside and sea views. Car hire would be advisable to enable you to explore and enjoy all that Corfu has to offer. Although in a quiet area close to the village of Portes the Town of Acharavi is only a five minute drive away where you will find a vast array of shops and supermarkets Tavernas Bars and Restaurants whilst there is a Post Office in Acharavi unfortunately there are no banking facilities however, numerous ATM's are available. Car and scooter hire are also readily available everything you will need for you to enjoy your holiday.Once in Acharavi take any of the roads to the right and you will find yourself on the beach facing a beautiful blue sea. Road 7 will lead to a beach with lots of free parking excellent beachside Tavernas and wonderful sea views sunbeds are available often free with the purchase of a drink from the Taverna. There are no private beaches on Corfu therefore you may decide to take your own sunbeds towels etc and relax where ever you are, just to add most of the beaches on Corfu are shingle / pebble it may be advisable to purchase a pair of beach shoes to make your beach day more enjoyable. There are some sandy beaches if you prefer, the closest to the Villa are St. Spiridon and Kalamaki both very safe for young families.
Villa Dionysus is Situated within 0.9 miles of Acharavi Beach and 0.9 miles of Almiros Beach which is situated close to the Nature Reserve where you can find a beautiful walk through wooded areas leading to the next bay of St Spiridon you will find further Tavernas a sandy beach with numerous water sports available including boat hire.

By Magnus on 12-Aug-2025Good landlords, fantastic accommodation, a whole house to themselves, incredible views, there was everything you needed in the kitchen and everything else around the accommodation with its own large pool, jacuzzi and billiards etc. It is necessary to rent a car as it is only 2 km to the beach but with steep hills to the accommodation. The landlord arranged a rental car for us, which was great, just pick it up at the airport upon arrival. There is nothing to complain about, can really recommend this accommodation.
Incredible view for a modern and peaceful villa

A wonderful villa in a wonderful part of Corfu!
By Sarah on 15-Aug-2025From start to finish, this was a wonderful experience! The villa (semi-detached) was superbly appointed and equipped - a real home from home. Everything you needed in the kitchen and more (including usual staples such as clingfilm, herbs, oil, etc. as well as airfryer, Nespresso machine, etc.). Thoughful touches in the bathrooms such as cotton wool and cleanser and great utility space supplied with washing liquid, etc. Outside there were more spaces and places to sit than you can imagine - whether you wanted shade or sun. Super large and clean pool with hot tub too - great for a change of scene. Lots of fridges on the various different levels of property which was perfect for keeping drinks cool and handy. Host John was extremely hospitable and welcoming - nothing was too much trouble. He can also organise local car hire (something we wished we had taken advantage of had we known). The villa itself was located away from the bustle of Acharavi and had wonderful views over the countryside and sea towards Albania. Acharavi had lots of small supermarkets and shops, as well as great restaurants and bars (particularly those on the seafront). It was a noticeably different feel to the busier resorts of Corfu - more relaxed and with lots of space on the sandier stretches of beach beyond the centre and along the coast to Agios Spyridonas. Kassiopi (lovely little resort with cruises down the coast to Corfu town) close by and Agios Stefanos (for cruises to Diapontia islands and around the picturesque coast) within easy reach too. We will certainly return here if we come back to Corfu! We loved everything! There were lots of levels so it might not be suitable for people with mobility impairments or difficulties.

By Denise x on 22-Sep-2024I could tell you about the amazing villa, the 5* facilities, the perfect location, the incredible hosts....the list goes on but although it has all that in bucketloads, it's crowning glory is the views, wow the views. I was very sorry to leave the lounger on the terrace that I had claimed as my own and banned the rest of my family from sitting on, mountains, forest and the sea all around. It was paradise. Xxx
